CHAPTER 25

Sonbi just applied a little make up on Eunmi and let her above shoulder-length hair loose making it appear wind swept.

Yeol's head popped at the door. "Ladies, I need to get moving. Wow! Eunmi you look amazing!" He said as he entered the room.

"Yeah thanks! Sonbi's handmade." as she twirled around.

"Sweety, you're the best!" Yeol said as he scooped Sonbi in a bear hug, kissing her. Eunmi smiled at the sight of the two.

"Alright, I need to go. I'll pick you up at five. Are you joining us, Eunmi-ah?"

"I'll skip this time, I want to rest." she said whilst following them to the door.

Yeol gave them each a kiss on the cheek before opening the door, "Bye, ladies."

He was surprised to see Kyungsoo, who was about to knock on the door. "Hi there, Kyungsoo! How are you?" he extended his hand.

"I'm good and you?" grabbing Yeol's hand, patting him on the back, the way men do greetings with their friends. Apparently, they all became closer during the wedding.

"I'm about to leave but Eunmi's inside, you can just go in. See you again, probably we could go out some time for a drink."

"Yeah why not, that would be nice. I'll call you then." Kyungsoo went inside but stop on his tracks as he saw Eunmi putting on her shoes.

Time went still for him. His heart beating wildly at the sight of her. He was mesmerized by how exquisite she was in her off shouldered, knee-length coral body hugging dress. It complimented her skin though her face looked a bit pale. Nonetheless, he was in dazed until Sonbi acknowledged his presence.

"Oh hi there, Kyungsoo! Don't just stand there, come on in."

"H-Hello." Kyungsoo blushed, timidly stuttering. There he go again! Why can't he just be normal when he's in front of Eunmi?

"Hey you. Can you just wait a few seconds whilst I get my handbag?" Eunmi said as she ushered him to sit in the couch.

"No problem. These are for you." handling her the bouquet.

"Wait, I'll get it. You stay here, Eunmi." Sonbi volunteered, leaving them together in the spacious living room.

"You look beautiful." Kyungsoo complimented Eunmi as soon Sonbi was out of sight.

"Thank you." she was embarrassed. "These flowers are lovely. Um, would you like something to drink?" Eunmi smelled the flowers to hide her red face, offering him to keep her from getting more embarrass.

"I'm fine, thank you. You look a bit pale, are you ok?" he asked.

"Do I? Well to tell you frankly, I'm not feeling so good today..." she should have asked Sonbi to apply more make up on her face.

Kyungsoo look crestfallen for a short while but recovered quickly, "Do you want to cancel our date? It's ok. We can do it next time."

"We'll just eat right? I think I will be fine as long as we return back here immediately after. I'm already dressed and you are here. I don't want you to cancel whatever reservations you made, save you from the hassle." she smiled.

Sonbi came back with her handbag.

"Here you go."

Kyungsoo helped Eunmi up from the couch. They felt the same electrifying sensation once their hands touched. They could only look at each other's eyes.

"You lovebirds enjoy your lunch date. Shoo!" Sonbi joked on them, breaking their eye contact, both blushing madly.

'These two are so cute together!' thought Sonbi.
