CHAPTER 15

Her bestfriends were jumping in her bed merrily. Afterwards, Hemi pulled her to the wardrobe and started flipping through her clothes. As usual, her friend is the one who is going to doll her up so she just obliged. Really, she is going to miss these times once Hemi is married.

Sonbi went out of her room telling them that she will prepare herself as well.

It is true that Eunmi is always the early bird amongst the three. Sonbi does not need to wake up early for she got trusted employees running her restaurants. She just have to visit them once in a while at different times. However, today will be an exception.

They will go out to have some fun!

It has been some weeks when they went out together, with Eunmi always busy at the agency and Hemi with her upcoming wedding in addition to her boutique and designing for her next collection. Both ladies tried to help Hemi with the preparations as much as they can however little it was.

The three bestfriends all agreed to retain their condominium consistent even if all of them had their own family, especially if one of them is having marital problems. Not that they are hoping for it. They still wanted to have some days of girl bonding away from their husbands-to-be or use it in the future as a play and rest space in case they all started brooding their offspring.

Soon, the three lovely ladies came out of their condominium happily strutting, all looking glam and pretty. They took Eunmi's car that day, with her behind the wheel of course.

The three ladies decided to have brunch at their favourite cafe/restaurant. Sonbi and Hemi couldn't believe Eunmi's appetite. She was eating so much, almost finishing all the food she ordered. Sonbi tried to stop her from gorging on fearing she might get fat. Eunmi just brushed the idea, reasoning that she did not eat right yesterday for she was busy at work and missing dinner coming home late deciding to sleep instead.

After a session of pampering at the spa, they went shopping the remaining afternoon with Eunmi always complaining of being tired. Its not that she hate these girly stints, she would rather do something productive. In addition she is really feeling tired, like all of her energy had left her. She cringed everytime Sonbi and Hemi will go gaga over a new clothing, shoes or bags they were seeing in every emporium they were passing by. But when she saw a stall selling dim sums by the food court, she pulled her two bestfriends alongside and bought 6 orders of chicken feet for take away.

Sonbi and Hemi were astounded with Eunmi's bizarre appetite at the moment. She seldom eats that kind of food and its really strange for them to see her buy it in bulk. Yes, she got passion for food but chicken feet?!

Eunmi seemed to be salivating while the server prepared her orders. Her bestfriends knew her love for foods but they regarded her outrageous for that behaviour. Seeing their friend happy anyways, Sonbi and Hemi let Eunmi be, owing to the fact their bestfriend had not enjoyed this kind of freedom for a long time.

To finish off their day out, the three decided to have some coffee after Eunmi's constant whining of discomfort from her painful shoes. They entered a famous coffeehouse and immediately Eunmi slumped on an empty couch raising her aching feet onto the table. Hemi just rolled her eyes from the obvious exaggeration.

Sonbi ordered three tall latté, cappuccino and caramel macchiato respectively with cakes for each of them. When she returned, Eunmi was already enjoying her take out. After setting their cakes down, she started questioning her friend about something.

"Eunmi, your receptionist told me that you received a bouquet of flowers again, take note, AGAIN! Who sent you those flowers huh? You're not telling us that you've got a new suitor now." Sonbi said taunting her friend.

"What?" Eunmi asked looking confused, still snacking on the chicken feet.

"I said whose been sending you flowers at work?" interrogated Sonbi. Hemi looked curious.

"Oh that! We've been receiving it for two days now." she nonchalantly said still foraging on her food.

Sonbi's face showed signs of disbelief, continued to question her. "Your receptionist told me it was address to you?"

"FYI, it got my name and the agency on the card. Its from Do MultiCorp. Probably, because I am always the one following the meetings and the documents before the contract signing. I don't know why they keep on sending us the flowers actually. Maybe that's their protocol." Eunmi nonchalantly explained, not wanting to elaborate more, because she does not care really.

"Something smells fishy...!" Hemi sing-song which Eunmi ignored. Still Sonbi looking suspicious at Eunmi but gave it a rest. It's in her nature to be persistent with this kind of things especially knowing Eunmi is always often ignorant for possible suitors.

'Who could it be? Do Kyungsoo? Nah! They barely knew each other.' Sonbi thought, remembering the dinner meet.

The three of them continued their chit chats about random things to the wedding tomorrow. Eunmi somehow found her cheesecake disgusting which was unusual since it's her favourite dessert. She did not tell her friends anymore otherwise the girls will just blame her for gorging too much. Reluctantly, she pushed it away from her and was glad her bestfriends did not notice her action. Maybe they assumed she had her fill already, since she finished her takeaway in one seating.

They did not wait for the sun to set before returning in their condo. Everybody will be having an early head on tomorrow for the big day, most especially Hemi.

Doing a group hug and savouring the moment before each turned in their own bedroom, no one spoke yet they understood the feeling that lingers around. Truly, the sisterly love between these three is so strong that no words can define it.
