Chapter 64

CHAPTER 64

Jongdae got woken up by the constant ringing of his phone. At first, he did not know where he was. He realised to himself after few seconds that he was at Kyungsoo's pad and that he was lying on someone's thigh, which turns out to be Xiumin's.

He sat up and looked around with his bleary eyes, all the guys are sprawled around the lounge on the floor or the sofa heavily sleeping.

He saw Baekhyun and Yeolie cuddling each other on the sofa. Suho was backhugging Sehunnie on the carpeted floor. Jongin was curled by Xiumin hyung's feet hugging a bolster.

He'd love to take a photo of everyone but answered his phone first. Looking at the calling number he was surprised to see that the call was from the hospital where Chairman Do was.

He immediately answered it.

"Hello? This is Kim Jongdae-imnida." Jongdae went by the balcony to avoid waking up the others.

"Jongdae-ah, it's me." said the voice.

Jongdae was having a headache from last night's event and was a bit confused upon hearing the voice.

"Chairman?" he tentatively asked.

"Yes it's me. I've woken up since early this morning. The hospital and my doctors kept calling Kyungsoo on his phone but he is not picking up. I was told he is not at the mansion either. Atty. Kim Jongro was calling his son Jongin as well as Baekhyun to find him but they are also not picking up. Where are you guys, what is happening?" Chairman Do asked him.

Upon hearing his slightly hoarse voice, Jongdae's inebriated state immediately vanished bowing as he spoke.

"My apologies, Chairman, I've just woken up! Congratulations on coming back healthy! I'm happy to hear from you and that you sounded well after waking from your coma." Jongdae was bumbling with embarrassment whilst speaking with the Chairman.

"It's already eleven in the morning and you just woke up? Tell me, do you have any idea where is my son?" Daddy Edward asked.

"We all hung out and somehow got drunk last night, Chairman. It's a long story. We are at Kyungsoo's pad, let me find him for you." Jongdae bowed again and went inside to search for Kyungsoo.

He went to the bedroom but Kyungsoo was not there, the bed looked like it was not touched. He then went to the study but only saw his phone on the desk littered with few empty liquor bottles and pictures of Eunmi. The room was very cluttered.

"Chairman, I don't think Kyungsoo is here right now. He left his phone in here. Maybe he went to see his wife-?" Then suddenly remembering, "Oopps I forgot! You don't know that Prez got married."

"I know, Jongro has told me everything I missed for the past 6 months. So I want you, Jongin and Baekhyun, all three of you to come right now at this hospital to give me a full report." authoritively commanded Daddy Edward.

"Right away, Chairman!" Jongdae said whilst kicking Jongin to wake him up and bowed as he hang up.

He shook Baekhyun next but he is still fast asleep, perhaps still drunk. Instead of waking up, he cuddled Yeol tighter.

Jongdae was frustrated but laughed. He took photos of everyone then shouted at the top of his voice.

"AAAAWWWAAEEEEEEE!!! IREONA, EVERYONE!!!"

Xiumin woke first, with his hair all messy and standing up.

"Why are you so loud early in the morning?" he asked scratching his neck.

"It's almost noon, hyung. BAEKHYUN-AH! JONGIN-AH! WAKE UP, GUYS! WE NEED TO LEAVE!" Jongdae rushes again to wake the two up.

"Wae, what's the matter?" Suho said yawning, sitting up from his position.

"Kyungsoo is not in here and his father just woken up from his coma. I just spoke to him on the phone. He wanted us to meet him right away." responded Jongdae.

"Ohh..." was the only thing Xiumin said.

So Xiumin and Suho helped him woke up the two, ending up waking the rest.

"I guess Kyungsoo must have left already to find his wife. Xiumin hyung, Suho hyung, can you please bring his phone to him." Jongdae gave Kyungsoo's phone to them.

"Arasseo." said Xiumin.

"Let me try calling Eunmi on the landline to let her inform Kyungsoo of the news, if ever they met." Suho said.

Jongdae ordered Sehun to make coffee for all of them and told Jongin and Baekhyun to prepare so they can leave immediately.

"My phone is dead." said Baekhyun.

"Mine too. And I'm dead once my wife got hold of me..." Jongin despondently said.

Yeol laughed at what Jongin said, "No worries, my Sonbi knew where we were, and that we're all together last night to see Kyungsoo. She must have told Hemi and Rena about it."

"Do you think Kyungsoo hyung left early to go see noona?" Sehun hopefully asked when he came back bringing steaming mugs of coffee for the rest.

"Let's hope and pray that he actually did." Xiumin said.

"Why leave his phone, though?" Suho asked. "Eunmi is not answering, she must be outside." He put down his mobile after calling the house phone twice.

"He must be still drunk and perhaps due to his eagerness to see her, he must have forgotten about it." Baekhyun thought.

"Whatever it is I hope he is safe. I hope as well they have managed to see each other, clear up their own misunderstandings, and are back together right now." Xiumin said.

"If you guys are ready, we need to leave now." Jongdae said to Jongin and Baekhyun as he gulped the last coffee in his mug. He stood up and asked, "Yeol, can you please give us a lift to the hospital?"

"No worries." Yeol said, standing up as well.

"Can we go home and shower first?" asked Jongin in a slightly whiny voice.

"We don't have time. We can't make Chairman Do wait, Kyungsoo is not here." Jongdae said.

"Kaja!" said Baekhyun, lifting him up by the arm.

"Go now. Don't worry, we'll clean up here then leave as well." Xiumin said.

"But hyungs, promise, let's do this more often. It's kind of fun, despite Kyungsoo hyung's dilemma." Sehun said pouting.

Everybody smiling and agreeing to the maknae. They are not that much close to Xiumin before and have only met Suho yesterday but they felt like they have known them for so long, feeling like they are one big family. Last night drinking together was low-key but it felt like they have been hanging out for a very long time, like brothers of the same feathers.

"Sure, maknae." Yeol said smiling.

Jongin ruffled his head whilst Baekhyun hugged him.

Suho extended one of his arm out and everybody followed.

"We are one, fighting!" all the guys said before dispersing.

Surely, this will not be their last.
