CHAPTER 58

"Don't even deny it because we now knew." Sonbi said.

"Babe, is this the reason why until now you have not given me the name of a Private Investigator? Is it because you have to keep this as a secret?" Hemi asked Jongin directly. "I feel like a fool!"

"You know guys, this is not good. Hiding things from us meant you don't trust us. Am I not that trustworthy, Byun Baekhyun?" Rena said severely to Baekhyun.

"Does Jongdae know about it too?" Sonbi asked.

"If something serious like this was kept from Eunmi, it only meant you will do the same to any of us anytime without batting an eyelid, without even thinking the effect of it to our minds, our well-being!" Hemi firmly said.

"Is this some kind of blood compact you have with each other that it does not matter if your partner's feelings are going to be ignored?" Rena emotionally said.

Both Jongin and Baekhyun were dumbfounded with the ladies beratement, with faces showing guilt. They looked like cats being caught on their tails, feeling like sitting in court being judged.

Jongin raised both hands and said "Ladies, ladies, please calm down. Ok, you are right, we're both sorry. We all knew but Kyungsoo made us promised-"

Suddenly Sonbi slams her hand on the table making both men almost jump cutting Jongin's statement, "I knew it! Ladies, it is now confirmed! We have the solid evidence from these guys!"

Both men looked puzzled at what Sonbi had said, they froze.

Baekhyun recovered first from his gaping mouth and lightly punched Jongin's arm, whispering, "You and your big mouth!"

He then faced the three ladies and said, "Hang on, I thought you said all of you knew already who the person was?"

"I still have some doubts but it already came out from your mouths, and your faces verified it all." Sonbi answered.

"How did you guess that it was Kyungsoo?" Baekhyun was asking Sonbi.

"We have our resources." Sonbi simply responded to him.

"Look ladies, we're very sorry. Jagiya, sorry but you know that I trust you with my life-"

"Rrrright." said Rena rolling her eyes. "No secrets between us remember?!"

"I do! Yes no secrets but this does not concerns us both." Baekhyun defended himself looking straight at her girlfriend.

It was Jongin who punched Baekhyun in the arm this time.

"You are tactless!" Jongin said to Baekhyun. "Listen first. Babe, hear me out." he continued on. "Kyungsoo told us from day one to not say a word because he wanted to be the one to tell his wife himself."

Baekhyun nodded his head like a puppy.

Jongin continued, "He has been trying his best to tell Eunmi about it even before they got married however he never done so because of Eunmi's pregnancy."

"Why do I feel like these two are defending Do Kyungsoo?" Sonbi said whilst looking at Rena and Hemi, pointing at the guys.

"No, we are not. We're just explaining the circumstances. Kyungsoo was very worried Eunmi will have a miscarriage at that time. Remember how many times Eunmi was fainting and what the doctor has told about her pregnancy? Kyungsoo was just being careful." Baekhyun quickly added.

The ladies looked at each other. Now the ladies are listening.

"It was not our intention to keep it from all of you but we are just giving him time until he managed to reveal his secret. Actually, he did already plan to tell her this weekend as soon as he heard that you are starting to look into it. This is the reason I have not recommended a private detective to you, Babe. I am delaying it until Kyungsoo and Eunmi had spoken to each other." Jongin explained.

"But I asked you to not tell him that. You promised." Hemi whined.

"I know, Babe, I'm truly sorry but I do not want to ruin Kyungsoo's plans. Otherwise Eunmi will get hurt if she learns the truth from others rather than her husband. Like all of you, he is just protecting Eunmi." Jongin said.

"Still! We're so gonna talk about this later!" Hemi said with arms still crossed.

"I don't really know how Eunmi is going to react on this once she knew. I am just wondering why it took him this long to keep that secret." stated Rena whilst thinking deeply.

"Who knows what was his reason why he has not said anything since Eunmi has been out of the critical stage of her pregnancy already. Believe us but we kept asking and telling him to tell his wife whenever we have the opportunity." Baekhyun explained.

"Also we do not want to intrude in their lives. That is their private matter that they need to resolve themselves. Kyungsoo knows what he is doing, we can't dictate what he can do. We can only support him. As all of you, I know Eunmi is your friend and you feel that she was misled through all this but let her learn this out herself." Baekhyun continued.

"For sure, Eunmi will be very upset once she learns the truth. We need to speak to Kyungsoo about this. I also need to see Jongdae to kill him!" Sonbi said feistily. "So call them now and tell them to come over to our condo as soon as they can."

"Having said that, there is also a possibility that Eunmi might take this lightly and be relieved about it." Jongin added.

"So please do not tell Eunmi about what you have learned. Let Kyungsoo deal with it and let them sort this out amongst themselves." Baekhyun said in finality.
