Never be
"Where the hell are we going?" I chuckle breathlessly, Michael is dragging me behind him and I'm struggling to keep up with his excited puppy-like antics.
"You'll see," he shouts back to me, picking up his pace down the road and heading in the direction of some rocky cliffs, "so shut up."
"You shut up," I mutter under my breath, but his laughter lets me know he heard me.
He is never spontaneous like this. He would much rather we stay in and relax as opposed to being constantly on the move, that's why I'm asking to many questions that he is refusing to answer.
"Wow," we come to an immediate stop amongst some rockery. Positioning my feet carefully, I slowly climb around to be at a higher point with Michael by my side, and we gaze out at the slow glowing sun set.
"I know, right," the oranges in the sky are fading to pinks and deep purples, sweeping through the evening sky and making the site a beautiful one, "I knew you'd like it here."
He hugs me from behind, wrapping his arms around the front of my body and positioning his chin onto my shoulder, and lightly kisses my cheek.
"I love it, thank you."
"I love you," he kisses my cheek again, the skin reddening from the blush I receive whenever he says those 3 little words to me, "and you're welcome."
