Personal Luke imagine for @_lauuurennn_ on IG

I tie my hair up, pulling it away from my face, and pull my jacket tighter around myself. My friends had purposefully set me up - playing it off as an accident - and I'm currently stood outside the cinema in the freezing cold, waiting for someone I don't even know.

I double check my phone for the time, seeing my friends texting me good luck, and I'm interrupted by a rough, deep voice in my ear.

"Hey, are you Lauren?"

I quickly look up from my phone and I'm sure my eyebrows are lost in my hair. He is...gorgeous? No, more than that. He's beautiful!

He has golden, blond hair styled neatly upwards and soft, baby pink lips pulled up in a sweet smile. A black and red checked jumper adorns his upper half, black skinny jeans on the bottom half and a black jacket to seal the deal. Holy crap. I feel like a tramp next to this wannabe model.

"Yes."

I look mentally slow. It took me god knows how long to respond, I was too busy checking him out, and its painfully obvious he knows judging from the smirk he's know wearing.

"Well, I'm Luke. I believe our friends sent us here."

I nod, pulling my jacket tighter again, and he takes the hint by leading me inside the cinema foyer, opening the door for me. He's a gentleman, wow. I mutter a thanks, feeling the warm air hit my skin, and I join Luke in line to purchase tickets.

It's so awkward, neither of us really talking apart from one word answers and questions, and I mentally scold myself for being socially awkward. He's just too good looking to be stood next to me, I'm intimidated, and how can I not be?

"No, you don't need to pay."

I try to fish money out of pocket and hear him lightly chuckle beside me, handing over cash to the attendant and paying for my ticket.

"If this is a date, I'm going to do it properly."

He winks at me, causing blush to rise on my face. He just winked at me! Holy hell.

"Well, um, thank you?"

"You don't sound so sure about that."

He chuckles again, running a hand through his perfectly styled quiff, and I have to stop myself from mimicking his actions. That would be incredibly weird.

"Let's go get our seats."

We walk over to the cinema room, heading up the stairs and finding our allocated seats in the darkened room. The film hasn't started yet, adverts and trailers still showing, but the room isn't too busy.

We sit side-by-side for a few minutes, no words being spoken, and I slip my jacket off to get comfortable. I'm going to be here for a good 2 hours, might as well.

"I'm glad you turned up. I was praying I didn't get stood up."

I turn to look up at Luke, seeing him pull his bottom lip between his teeth, his lip ring moving back and forth. Oh, to be that lip.

What?!

"Well, I actually had no idea it was a date. I was supposed to be meeting friends and they set me up."

His face falls, "Oh."

"Not that I wouldn't have turned up! Believe me, have you seen yourself recently?"

I slap a hand over my mouth, stopping the verbal vomit from going further, and he chuckles at my reaction and honest opinion of him.

"Well, thanks? You're quite something, Lauren."
