My clothes are clinging to my body as I hide behind the shed. Due to it being really good weather, Calum decided that a water fight should take place, and boy did it. I'm currently hiding from him and his friends, my friends ran off screaming in the opposite direction, leaving me to fend for myself.

I check my water gun, make sure it's full enough to get some good hits, and I peak my head out from behind the shed. Calum is creeping down the side of the house, and hasn't managed to catch sight of me yet. Thank god.

I know, we are taking it really seriously, but that's what we do. We're competitive and we both hate losing. He has been doing rubbish smack talk all afternoon, trying to get a rise out of me, because he is convinced I won't beat him. Well I'm going to prove him wrong.

"Babe."

He calls a pet name out for me, trying to lure me into a false sense of security, but it won't work. He walks out from the side of the house, doing a rookie mistake of walking out into open space, and I can't see his friends anywhere. They must have gone after my friends. I hear girlie screams in the distance, which confirms my theory. I just don't know whether they belonged to my friends or his.

I squat down on the floor, positioning myself lower to ground so I'm not seen, and lean out from behind the shed. I have a clear shot to hit Calum, but I have a feeling I should wait a minute.

"Oh, fuck."

He shakes his water gun, the tank empty, and he has no way to fireback at me. Result. I stand up to my full height, walking around the shed, and stand a few feet away from him. He hasn't noticed my presence yet, but he will in a minute.

"Hey, Calum."

He looks up and his eyes widen. I have my water gun pointed at his dry chest and he slowly backs away from me, laughing.

"Babe. You don't want to do that?"

"Oh really? Whys that?"

"I'm out of water. That would be unfair."

I chew my lip, making it look like I'm contemplating for a moment, then I shrug my shoulders.

"I've never really cared for fairness."

I pull the trigger and direct the water all over him, from head to toe, and he screams from the temperature change. The water is freezing cold and the heat from the sun is at the highest it's been all summer.

Once I'm out of water, I double over with laughter, my stomach and cheeks hurting from laughing so hard. He is stood in front of me, dripping wet, with a scowl on his face which makes me laugh harder.

"Hey, babe. Come give me a hug?"

"Hell no! You're soaked!"

He smirks at me and jumps for me, I spin around and run to the garden gate, him hot on my heels. We get half way down the street when he picks me up from behind, holding me tight against his chest, and spins me around.

By now, I'm squealing and he's laughing loudly in my ear. People are going to think we're crazy. He sets me down and kisses my cheek from behind.

"Payback."
