"Spinel?"
A bright stream of fire shot from behind her towards Stain. It was the pressure from the fire that ultimately jostled her hood enough for a few strands of hair to come out. Spinel's eyes widened as she turned to Shouto. Their eyes were locked for a moment once more. She tore them away and glanced at her surroundings before bolting and clambering up the roof to escape. Did he see?! Spinel felt a little bad for leaving the three there, but she had to keep her identity a secret.
Besides, with Shouto replacing her he was already more useful considering he could actually use his quirk. Once Spinel was a few roofs away she took a breath recalling what happened in that last moment when some of her hair escaped her hood. There is no way Iida saw, he was facing away. Midoriya probably missed it too, he was too busy trying to stand. Which left Shouto, she was certain that she saw a flash of recognition in his eyes. Not only had their eyes met -twice- he had seen her hair at the same time. Fuck. Spinel readjusted her hood covering herself once more. She may not be there to help the trio, but she could send someone their way.
------------
"Endeavor!"
He turned to face the owner of the voice. He lit his hand with a fireball upon seeing her form. She was partially hiding behind a wall, her features obscured by her fluffy hood.
"Wait! Wait! Don't attack!" The girl squeaked with her hands up. "A block or so over, your son needs help." She clipped her words trying to talk as little as possible while still keeping the same message
He was almost sure he had heard that voice before, but what did it matter? He was the number two hero; it was probably someone insignificant. What did matter, was finding his masterpiece. As suspicious as her words seemed he couldn't risk not going. If she lied, then all he had to do was find her again. Easy fix.
--------
Spinel sighed after scampering to the roof. She didn't want to be on the receiving end of one of Endeavor's fire balls again. Spinel stretched before she ran back to where she last saw the boys. Hopefully Endeavor made it there. Just as she took her next jump to the building before a black misty portal appeared intercepting her jump.
She landed crouched with a muffled thump. She was on top of one of the highest buildings in Hosu and overlooking the carnage below. The portal was familiar. She had seen it one other time before. The attack on USJ.
"Good job Kurogiri." A familiar voice rasped. "I finally get to meet Giran's elusive star student." He emphasized the 'finally' as the blue haired man eyed Spinel like she was a toy he wanted from the store. "I've been wanting to meet you for a while now. Giran always said that you were a workaholic and that he couldn't catch you long enough for a meeting, looks like he was right."
Spinel stood up slowly halfway to an internal freak out. The person before her was Shigaraki. It took her a moment to realize she was still in her 'work suit' so he didn't recognize her from the USJ attack. She could work with this. Spinel straightened then shoved her hands in her pockets lazily "If you know, then why have you interrupted my work?" Her voice was cold and hard. "We both know I have better things to do." She pushed a little so she would come off as arrogant and rude. She didn't want him to kill her, but she wanted out fast.
He scratched at his neck a little holding back his frustrated growls "I want you to join me. The league of villains wants your skills."
Spinel tilted her head as he started his sales pitch. It took a little while before he was finished, it honestly could have been shortened to 'kill All Might, crush society, bring chaos and fear' no need for the flowery words between. "What makes you think I'd even be interested? I am perfectly content with what I have right now."
