Neil feels guilty

Neil was just about to say something

Neil: Mini..

Before he could complete, she hugged him as tightly as she could... After coming home so late, Neil expected her to be in her hinsavadi avtar, but here it was something different 🤭.. he too reciprocated, he soon felt his shirt getting wet and thts when he realised she had started crying.. he tried to break the hug, but she clinged on to him like he would disappear if she leaves him..

Neil being Neil, sensed her fear and concern for him, and just whispered sweet things like "I'm here mini", "Calm down" , "it's ok mini Madam" to which she chuckled between her sobs... After a good 20 mins, Mini calmed down and they broke the hug.. Neil was just looking at Mini, but she looked everywhere but him.. Neil knew something was up..

Neil: Mini... (No response)

Neil: Mini, meri taraf dekho (she was looking down)

Neil: Mini... (And he held her chin gently and made her look at him) Ab bolo, kya baat hai, kuch hua hai kya? You're ok na? Kuch bol kyu nhi rhi ho mini kuch to bolo I'm getting tensed na... (He asked in one go)

Mini: Neil Oberoi, jab tum bolne doge tab bolungi na... (Neil just gave a sheepish smile) (Now she became a bit serious and Neil got worried, when she about to say something, the bell rang.)

Mini went and opened the door to find Arya, Dadu, Biji and Naeem Bi there... Arya hugged mini and Neil, and ran to her room. Mini called them in..

Dadu: Kaisi hai meri bachhi?

Mini: Thik hu dadu🙂 mujhe kya hoga abhi...

Biji: Nhi tu dupahar ko kuch pareshaan si thi na, isiliye.. (she caressed her face)

Naeem Bi: Ha ha Mini, ab tu thik hai na?

Mini: Ha Dadu, Biji, Dadiamma, tab thodi pareshaan si thi (now looked at Neil) ab bilkul thik hu (and smiled)

Dadu, Biji and Naeem Bi looked towards a confused Neil.. but were satisfied that both their children were fine... Dadu went to Neil and kept his hand on Neil's shoulder, Neil looked at him, and he blinked his eyes in assurance, Biji and Naeem Bi came and caressed his face, and he smiled at their care for him...

After some time....

Dadu: thik hai beta hum chalte hai, tum dono apna khayal rakhna..

Biji: Mini, Neil, kuch khake hi sona, thik hai? (Both nodded)

Naeem Bi: Chaliye hum chalte hai, khayal rakhna dono.. (Both smiled)

All three of them left. Only Mini and Neil are there now, suddenly Arya came there,

Arya: Veerbalika... Veerbalika... Neil... Sunoo

Mini: Ha chutanki kyu chilla rahi ho, bolo kya baat hai

Neil: Ha choti madam kya baat hai?

Arya came running with her drawing book..

Arya: Ye dekho, Veerbalika, Neil.. (and showed them the drawing she made.. it was of Arya, Neil and Mini..)

Neil and Mini exchanged looks, and Arya was looking at both of them, clueless... She asked

Arya: Neil, Veerbalika bolo na, achha nhi hai kya? Kyu kuch nahi bol rahe ho? (Neil was still silent and mini noticed it.)

Mini: Aree, nhi nhi chutanki, bahut acha hai, bahut sundar banaya hai tumne☺️❣️

Arya was very happy and she hugged both of them and they too reciprocated it.. then she ran into her room not before wishing them good night.. then Neil looked at mini to find her already looking at him.. they shared an eyelock... Mini took Neil's hand, and started taking him upstairs.. Neil was confused 🤔🤔

Niel: Mini, ye..

Mini: Chup.. bas mere saath chalo (and Neil nodded like an innocent child, mini smiled at him)

She took him to her roomand made him sit on her bed, she went and put on the star lights of her room, and came and sat facing him..

Mini/Neil: Neil/Mini (together)

Both chuckled.. Neil started

Neil: I've hurt you a lot right mini? (Before she could say anything) I'm sorry, mai tumse kuch chipana nahi chahta tha.. trust me, I had no intention of hiding anything from you, isiliye maine vo lette... (But stopped midway as he thought mini didn't know anything about it aand didn't want her to feel guilty.. but mini knew what he was talking about) (he held Mini's hands) Mini, I really wanted you to know everything about me, about my past, everything... But I could never bring myself to say it to you.. but that's no excuse.. I'm sorry Mini, I'm really sorry, (he said that everything in a flow and didn't let her speak at all) pls mujhe maaf kardo, I can't afford to lose you mini.. I can't lose you (by now his voice became a mere whisper) Agar tum nhi to mai bhi nhi, mai to mar jaunga...

She immediately put her hand on his mouth and nodded in a no hurriedly... He smiled sadly and removed her hand.. he was again going to start his self blaming spree, but mini started

Mini: Bas Neil

Neil: Nhi mini mujhe bolne do

Mini: Ab chup rahoge ya karate chop khaoge 😤 (sternly)

Neil: 😰 nhi bolo tum mai 🤐🤫 (kept finger on his lips, he looked like a child getting scolded for his mistake 🤭)

Mini: better... (Her voice softened) Neil, sorry tumhe nhi mujhe bolna chahiye 😞

Neil: nhi mini tum kyu...

Mini: chup 🤫

Neil: 🤫

Mini: Tum mujhe sab batana chahte the.. sab kuch and I know it Neil..

Neil's eyes widened 😳

Neil: tumhe kaise??

Mini thought of something and smiled inwardly..
