Mini: Vo.. Neil.. vo..

Neil: Vo vo ho gaya ho, to seedha seedha puchogi??

Mini (deep sigh): Neil.. Vo, shaadi ke baad.. 

Neil turned to her and held her hand.

Neil: Jo puchna hai pucho!! Why are you hesitating??

Mini: Neil, kya tum chahte ho ki hum shadi ke baad Delhi shift ho??

Neil was totally taken aback by her question. Who even put this weird question in her mind??

Neil: Mini tum...

Mini: Neil, vo bas.. dimag me aa gaya tha, I mean, shayad tum bhi chahte hoge na, ki shadi ke baad, hum Delhi jaaye, Delhi me... rahe..

Neil: Mini!!!

She was startled by his reaction, he had mixed feelings. he realised his tone, and calmed down

Neil (sigh): Mini, look, I don't know tum ye kyu soch rahi ho?? Or what made you think this way, but listen (he cupped her face) This will be your decision only!! Aur agar practically soche to it's not logical to shift. Yaha pe restaurant ka kaam hai, Arya ka school hai.. So, please ye doubt dimag se nikal do!!

Mini: Par tum..

Neil: Meri chodo Mini.. I'm really happy!! Mujhe yaha ek 'ghar' mila hai.. Ye kabhi mat sochna ki mai khush nahi hu!! Aur rahi baat shadi ke baad ki, trust me, nothing is going to change!! Hum dono ke beech ho ya mere aur Arya ke beech ho, kuch bhi ho.. It will never change!! Rahi baat Delhi ki, to.. chodo uss baat ko!! You were the one jisne mujhe bola tha ki ye 'humara' ghar hai.. Yaha pe humari ek family hai!! To please relax!! Aur itna tension mat lo yaar, dulhan ho, apni shadi enjoy karo!!

Mini was overwhelmed by his words, he had understood each dilemma she was going through. her eyes turned moist, he got worried. 

Neil: Mini.. tum..

She didn't let him speak, she threw herself in his arms and hugged him tight. He smiled and stroked her hair. 

Neil: Bas.. Ab koi stress mat lena, varna chehre pe pimples aa jayenge!! 

Mini hit on his chest. 

Mini: How mean!!

They parted.

Neil: Aree mujhe shadi karni hai kal!!

Mini: Toh??

Neil: Pata chala ki chehre pe pimple aa gaye to dulhan ne mandap pe aane se mana kar diya, aur bechara, shareef dulha, varmala leke mandap pe akela hai!!

Mini: Oh god Neil Oberoi!! Kitne dramebaaz ho na tum!!

There was silence for a second, and then they burst out into fits of laughter. Mini kept her head on his shoulder, and he held her. 

Mini (in her mind): Mujhe pata hai Neil, tum bol nahi rahe ho, par kahi to tum chahte ho ki kam se kam ek baar hum waha jaaye, as a married couple. Mai kya karu??

Neil (in his mind): Chahta to hu, ki ek baar, bas ek baar, hum waha khushi khushi jaaye!! Kyuki mai nhai chahta ki vo jagah tumhare liye buri yaadon ka jagah ho!! But.. Mai kya karu!!

Mini (In mind): Ok.. no more thinking.. kal humari shadi hai!!

Neil (in mind): Oh god Neil!! Tu bhi kya kya cheeze leke baith gaya hai!! Kal humari shadi hai!!

Mini: Neil..

Neil: Hmm..

She looked at him, and he smiled at her. He got up and went into the kitchen, and brought coffee for both of them.
