They return home after a long day of shopping and completely exhausted. All 6 of them return and everyone except MiNeil go inside rooms to freshen up, Bobby went into Neil's room, and Preet into Meera's. MiNeil just sat on the couch, just to see a furious Arya run out of her room. MiNeil looked at each other with a "Oh No!!" look. She came near them and stood, turning her face to the other side. They understood what was up with her. Mini came to her

Mini: Chutankii!!

She jerked her and stood 2 steps away

Neil: Choti Madam!!

Arya: Mujhe tum dono se baat nahi karni!!

They feigned innocence

Neil: Aree, par kyu??

Arya: Tum sab mujhe chodke chale gaye na??

Mini: Chutanki, hume na bohot dur jaana tha, aur tum to thak jaati na?? Aur agar bimar ho gayi to?? Tum engagement kaise attend karogi??

Neil smirked at her at the mention of engagement

Arya: Mujhe pata hai tum jhut bol rahi ho!! Mai bachhi nahi hu

And she ran into her room

Mini got worried, Neil gave her a "I'll handle it" look. He walked into Arya's room, and saw her sitting on the bed with a cute pout, he chuckled. He sat next to her. She turned to the other side.

Neil: hmm, tum to kehti ho ki tum bacchi nahi ho

Arya: nahi hu

Neil: to badi hoti to samajhti na ki hum kyu nahi le gaye

Arya: kyu??

Neil: tum to badi ho, tumhe pata hona chahiye na

Arya: ha.. ha.. mujhe pata hai!! Par tum batao na

Neil: agar pata hai to mai kyu batau??

Arya: tumhe bhi to yaad hona chahiye na.. to batao mujhe!!

Neil: okay..

He just whispered something in Arya's ear, and she jumped happily and hugged Neil, mini, who was standing on the door was confused 😕 she came in

Arya: Par phir bhi, aaj to mujhe le jaana tha na? Veerbalika ne bhi kaha tha kal ki mai bhi chalungi.

MiNeil looked at each other, and again at Arya with puppy face

MiNeil (held their ears): Sorry Chutanki/Choti madam.

Arya: it's okay ☺️

They went out of the room, and Mini dragged Neil upstairs as a long conversation awaits them. Neil sensed something wrong, and almost knew what.. And pretty well knew Mini wasn't in a great mood now. She went and sat on the couch, signalling him to sit beside, he took a deep breath, and got ready to face his Mini madam's wrath.

He sat next to her, and smiled at her but she was in no mood to even return a smile, and at this point, Neil knew what she wanted to talk about.

Neil: Mini tum...

Mini: Listen to me Neil Oberoi!! Mai kuch dino se puch rahi hu tum baat taal rahe ho, aaj ek baar phir se puch rahi hu... Kya chupa rahe ho mujhse??

Neil didn't see this coming, she spoke straight to the point. He stammered

Neil: Mini.. ku..kuch bh..bhi to nahi... Mai kyu...

Mini: I want to listen only to the truth Neil

Neil fell silent, she sighed and finally looked at him..

Mini: Okay!! Tum nahi bologe!! So let me say it!! Itne dino se tumhari tabiyat kharab hai, and you didn't bother to even inform me??

Neil was a bit relieved thinking she knows no further, but luck didn't favour him

Mini: Don't think that's it Neil Oberoi!! Mujhe sab pata hai!!

Neil looked at her in shock

Mini: You really thought you could pull this off?? Kam se kam ab bologe ya ye bhi mai hi bolu??

Her bloodshot eyes gave shivers to him, he understood that she was really hurt.

Neil (sighed): Mini, please relax...

Mini: I can't!!! Tum rishte me transparecy ki baat karte ho aur khud hi itni badi baat chupayi?? Tumhare constant headaches, irritation, restlessness, sab saaf saaf dikhai deta hai mujhe!! Mai baar baar puchti rahi, aur tum taalte rahe!!

He pried his eyes away. He knew he shouldn't have hidden it from her.

Mini: So mai hi bol deti hu,. Operation ke side effects ki vajah se, tumhara koi nerve weak ho gaya hai, and isiliye ye headaches and all!! Hai na??

Neil just looked down... Her eyes welled up with tears, she couldn't bear to see him in any more pain. What hurt her the most was that he was going through all this alone, and she was pretty well sure that he hid it from her so that she doesn't worry, but he has to know that him going through it alone, isn't the solution.

Mini: why??

Neil: Mini...

He was shattered a hundred times looking at tears in eyes which threatened to fall anytime. He knew he did a blunder and had to make up for it now. He held her and and sat down in front of her to face her directly. She looked at him.

Neil: Mini, I'm really sorry

Mini: nahi chahiye tumhara sorry mujhe!! Ab tumhare sorry ka achar dalu mai??

Neil: nahi.. tumhe achar dalna aata nahi vo alag baat.

She was irked by his lame jokes in the middle of a serious conversation, slapped him slightly. He was startled 😮 he held his cheeck and made a puppy face in front of her. She tried her best to control her smile seeing her oh-so-cute Neil Oberoi, but then remembered she was angry on him. She turned to the other side, he sat in front of her, she turned back again, he again came in front of her.

This continued till, he got irritated with his ziddi boss, and stood up, he smirked as an idea hit him. He walked away downstairs, leaving her confused. She was startled by this, he never leaves a conversation unfinished, she got worried, and followed him, she was about to shout when she saw him downstairs with everyone else, and sighed as she knew she can't tell anything in front of them. She too sat there silently

Everyone were looking through the dresses and everything else they purchased, and Neil was clearly ignoring Mini, which was irking her by the minute. Neil smiled as his plan was working, but much to his shock, she excused herself and went to her room..
