Neil went into his room and settled himself on his bed.. Mini was adoring him all this while and she was well aware of the work load he had at the restaurant, she was happy that Dadu, biji and Dadiamma had come over, and he wasn't alone the evening..

Neil saw her looking at him and he raised his eyebrows in question.. She smiled and blinked her eyes.. They were terribly missing each other and both of them knew it, but they were not unaware of the fact that this was necessary..

Neil: So.. how was your day?

Mini: abhi abhi aayi hu, aur pura day to flight me nikal gaya, tum bolo? Restaurant me sab kuch thik hai??

Neil: aaj... Surprisingly yes.. sab kuch thik tha.. abhi dishes to return nhi ho rahe but still, customers bohot Kam ho gaye the, all because of that Kabir....

Mini: hum uske baare me baat nahi karte hai na please

Neil sensed the change in her expressions and her restlessness as soon as he took Kabir's name, he wanted to ask more but seeing her, he stopped himself.. He just wanted to make the mood light

Neil: ok fine.. I'm not hungry yaar.. tumne khaya??

Mini: baat mat palto.. go get something for yourself to eat, hamesha mujhe laparvah kehte ho, khudko dekho

Neil: baat mai nahi tum palat rahi ho.. tumne abhi tak kuch nahi khaya na

Mini: ha to mai khaungi na kuch time me..

Neil: nahi.. tum abhi khaogi, mere saamne khaogi, jao get your dinner

Mini: par maine to banaya nahi, aur na hi kuch kharida, bas chutanki ne airport pe dosa kha liya

Neil: mai kyu na bolu tumhe laparvah phir? Kuch bhi dhyan hai ki nahi health ki?? I knew it.. jao apna bag kholo,, that small bag

Mini: kyu??

Neil: kitne savaal karti ho tum? Jao kholo.

She went and opened her bag to find a small box kept inside it.. She smiled at his presence of mind and concern for her.. she went back to the bed

Mini: Neil?? Ye kya hai??

Neil: kya hai matlab??

Mini: I mean kab? Like.. tum to late uthe the na.. to ye kaise??

Neil: Mai jaanta tha ki tum apne kisi cheez ka dhyan nahi rakhti.. sab kuch mujhe hi to karna padta hai 🤧

Mini: ohhoo.. drama band kar oye.. bohot ho gaye nakhre

Neil: mai nakhre karta hu?

Mini: aur nahi to kya?? Jao jaake kuch leke aao aur Khao..

Neil: fine.. chillati kyu ho yaar

Mini: ab tum kaam hi aise karte ho to mai kya karu

He goes into the kitchen and gets himself roti and sabzi which he had made in the morning for her and himself.. He comes back and sees her leaning on the headrest..

Neil: mini, tum thik ho??

Mini: ha I'm fine, bas travel ke vajah se thak gayi, ye zyada AC mujhe set nahi hota na..

Neil: hmm.. jaldi kha lo and take rest, kal jaldi uthna bhi hai na, so mat jaana

Mini: ha ha ok, ab khao

Neil: hmm

They both had their dinner in silence.. Stealing glances at each other whenever possible 😁❤️
After dinner, they had some light hearted talks, and Neil noticed that she slept while talking itself, he so wished that he was there next to her at this time, but he shrugged off all his thoughts.. and slept without cutting the call..

Next morning 🌄

Neil woke up, as he had to get ready for the restaurant, and heard Arya's voice..

Arya: Veerbalika...

Arya (moving from the phone): ye lo.. so rahi hai..

Neil: what!! Mini abhi tak so rahi hai??

Neil: p..pehle mi..mini ke paas phone le jaao

Arya took the phone to Mini's ears

Neil: Areee Mini madam uth jaao late ho jaogi

Mini (in sleep): Neil Oberoi let me sleep 😴 Rani didi ko bolo mere liye chai bana de, and you, go to the restaurant

Neil:  🤦🏻‍♂️ Miniiii!!! Tum patiala me nahi ho, you're in Bangalore.. uthoooo!!! MINI!!!!

She woke up with a jerk, and took a few seconds to realise.. As soon as she saw the time, she shouted

Mini: oh my goodness matarani!! Itna late ho gya 🤦🏻‍♂️

Neil: tab se hum uthane ki koshish kar rahe hai, tum uth nahi rahi ho..

Mini: ok ok, lecture baad me de Dena, I'll call you later, take care, bye

Neil: ok.. bye, take care

They hung up and both of them rushed to get ready for their respective works 🙂💗
