Next morning 🌄

Mini dropped Arya off at her school and left for office, after she reached, she picked up her phone to call Neil when she noticed his missed call.

Mini: missed call?? Call karti hu

She called him, and he picked it up in 3 rings

Neil: ha mini

Mini: Neil, tumne call kiya tha?? Mai Arya ko school drop karne gayi thi

Neil: acha, mujhe bas ye puchna tha, ki ek baar tum na restaurant jaake sab kuch dekhke aaogi?

Mini: ha, kar to du, par all ok?

Neil: ha ha.. bas check karke aa jao, accounts and all

Mini: okay, aaj office ke baad jaake dekhti hu

Neil: thank you so much mini madam

Mini: you're welcome, Neil Oberoi 😁

They shared a giggle 🤭

Mini: suno

Neil: sunai

Mini: I miss you Neil

Neil: I miss you too mini, I wish ye sab bas jaldi thik ho jaaye

Mini: hmm, chalo, shaam ko I'll call you

Neil: ha chalo bye

Mini: bye

Mini got back to work, when she noticed the new girl entering and sitting silently without talking to anyone, mini noticed her opening her phone and then closing it.. Mini decided to talk to her.. She walked up to the new girl..
Mini smiled at while she stood up and smiled back, Mini gestured her to sit..

Mini: hi.. I'm mini

The girl: hi mini, myself Meera..

Mini: you're new here right, i haven't seen you talk to anyone

Meera: actually I have the problem with the language here, so...

Mini: yeah, I get it... (By then, she gets a call)

Meera: hello..

....

Meera: sorry, wrong number.

...

She cut the call..

Meera: sorry vo wrong number se kisi ne call kar diya tha... Oh sorry, I started talking in Hindi instinctively

Mini: tum hindi bolte ho??

Meera: tum bhi??

Mini: ha, actually mai patiala se hu

Meera: mai Delhi se

Mini: nice.. finally, koi to Mila, jisse Hindi me baat kar saku

Meera: I know right.. English me bol bol ke pak gayi thi

Mini: 🤭 tumse baat karke bohot acha laga Meera

Meera: tumse bhi ☺️

They had a good conversation and became quite comfortable with each other.

On the other hand, Neil could notice the difference in taste of food than last time, he was happy as things were improving, and this meant he could go back to Bangalore very soon..

None of them told anything, but they had been missing each other terribly.. Neil would work long hours, while mini would engross herself with Arya.. It was equally difficult for both of them..

Preet and Bobby kept visiting Neil, while Arya and Meera kept mini occupied. But nothing could stop them from missing each other...

4 days later

Both Neil and Mini were held up in work, that they hardly got time to speak to each other, but still, atleast once a day, they would manage to take out time for themselves, and speak on video call..
It was evening, and mini returned early, but tired from office.. She was exhausted, so she decided to take a nap...

After a few minutes

Mini was tossing and turning in her sleep, sweating profusely.. She couldn't breathe, feeling claustrophobic, and woke up shouting...

Mini: NEEIILLLLL!!!!

She had the same nightmare 😨
She just closed her eyes tight and clutched her feet and touched her anklets, she held it tight.. for a few minutes, making sure everything was a nightmare, she calmed herself down...

She washed her face, and immediately video called Neil... He picked it up, and started off with a bright smile on his face 😁

Neil: Miniii... U know what....

But as soon as he saw her, his smile dimmed, and so did hers, which had formed looking at his bright smile 😊🙂

Neil: Mini, kya hua?? All okay?? Tum thik ho??

Mini: ha, ha of course.. tum bolo kya bol rahe the

Neil (sighs): tum mujhse baate kabse chupane lagi??

Mini: no.. aisa nahi hai, (sighs) it's Just.. I mean.. Yaar, leave it na, tum bolo

He knew she was almost there, but she's still holding herself back, just a small push, and she'll express her feelings..

Neil: Miniii..

He looked at her with assuring eyes and she gave up..

Mini: aaj... Abhi, mai so rahi thi, to.. phir se.. vahi sapna.. vo.. vo.. nightmare

Tears started flowing from her eyes.. She couldn't control herself anymore.

Neil: Mini, mai thik hu, I'm fine.. okay? Just look at me.. (she did) I'm okay mini.. mujhe kuch nahi hua.

After some time, she calmed down..

Mini: ok.. vaise kya bol rahe the tum??

Neil: oh haaa 😁

He gave his signature smile, making Mini's heart flutter in Joy 💗✨
