Preet was worried seeing Mini so restless, so she immediately called Bobby, and both of them tried to keep her occupied with all their talks and lame jokes, they took her shopping, and finally were successful in diverting her from worrying for Neil, they made sure she wasn't thinking anything unnecessarily till late evening..

In restaurant

After a busy day, Neil looked at the time and panicked badly

Neil (to himself finishing all remaining work): Oh godd!! itna late hogaya, shit shit shit.. Rani ko ghar jaana tha, Mini bahar gayi hai, aur tu abhi tak yahi par hai, Arya... Arya  ghar pe akeli hogi Mini ne bataya to tha, bhul gaya shitt.. Neiilll!!! jaldi karr, aur ghar jaa, varna mini madam to aaj tera kachumbar bana degi.. Marne ki itni jaldi nahi hai to jaldi kar aur ghar jaa..

He went to the staff and instructed them to close down and leave the keys with Geeta di, as she comes early, he will be late the next day, and doesn't want any goof ups, and hurriedly left the restaurant, to reach home on time, though he was already late...

He reached home, and was parking his bike, only to see Mini, Preet and Bobby walking towards the haveli from a distance, he could see her laughing, and smiling, and was relieved that she was smiling at least.. But realised that if she spotted him entering now, he would be in danger.. So he immediately got inside..

Rani didi: aa gaye Neil bhaiya!! mainu ghar jaana hai.

Neil: to jao please, aur jaldi jao

Rani: kyu?

Neil: aree please.. varna tumhari mini didi na mujhe maar hi daalegi.. jao jaldi, aur mini ke saamne mat jaana..

Rani nodded in confusion as Neil ushered her outside the haveli, and breathed a sigh of releif as he was saved (or he thought so 😉) He heard the door bell and knew it was Mini, so he went and opened the door, to see her standing there and looking at him with suspicion..

Neil: Mini, aao andar

Mini: hmm (she came inside)

Neil: kya hua aise kyu dekh rahi ho mujhe?

Mini: kuch nahi.. Arya kaha hai??

Neil: Arya, umm.. vo.. (thinking in his mind) ab kya bolu?? Arya kaha hai mujhe nahi pata, rani ko pucha nahi, ab kya bolu, room me hogi na ha, vahi bolta hu (to Mini) Ha, Vo.. Arya apne room me hai.. andar..

Mini: acha..

Just then, Arya comes running from upstairs, shouting..

Arya: Rani didi!!! Rani didi!! (notices Mineil and runs towards them) Neil!! Veerbalika!! tum log kab aaye (she hugs Mini and Mini glares at Neil) 

Neil (to himself): wrong timing choti madam 🤦‍♂️ aaj to tu gaya Neil

Arya: Neil! tum aaj restaurantt gaye the na, kab aaye tum?

Neil: ma..mai to kab ka aay..aaya hu

Arya: par abhi abhi to rani didi thi yaha, mai to upar gayi thi pani peene, abhi aaye ho kya??

Neil was silent, while Mini was busy giving him death glares.. Arya was confused.

Mini (realising something): Arya, apne room me jao abhi, bag pack ho gaya kya?, kal nikalna hai na hume?

Arya: ha.. Veerbalika tumne packing kar li?

Mini: abhi thoda hai chutanki, mai kar lungi

Arya: aur Neil tumne?

And then reality struck, Mini was leaving tomorrow, and Neil's throat clogged up.. Mini knew he won't be able to say anything so she kneeled down to Arya's height..

Mini: Chutanki.. Neil humare saath nahi aa raha hai

Arya: par kyu Veerbalika?

Mini: kyunki yaha restaurant me thoda problem chal raha hai, aur Neil ko yaha rehna padega, Neil sabse acha head chef hai na? 

Arya: ha, vo sabse acha hai, best

Mini: ha, to isiliye usko kuch din yaha rukna padega, aur phir vo aa jayega humare paas (she said rather convincing Neil and herself)

Arya: ok veerbalika, mai room mai jaati hu, par mujhe pack karna kaha aata hai??

Mini: Rani didi ne nahi ki kya?

Arya: mujhe nahi pata

Mini: acha go now, mai aake dekhti hu

Arya went into her room, and Mini saw Neil standing there gloomily, turning to the other side in an attempt to wipe the lone tear which fell from his eyes without Mini spotting it.. Mini blinked away her tears, and knew that she had to divert his mind now.. She came in front of him, and crossed her arms and glared at him.. At once, Neil knew she hadn't forgotten the fact that he came home late..

Mini: hmm, so kab aaye tum?

Neil: vo..vo..

Mini: vo.. vo.. ho gaya ho to kuch bataoge??

Neil: Mat..matlab mi..mini vo, restaurant me late ho gaya to... isiliye, mujhe time ka dhyan hi nahi raha yaar..

Mini: Neil Oberoi, maine tumhe call karke inform kiya tha, kam se kam ek alarm to laga lete, ya kisi ko bol dete ki tumhe inform kare, vo kar dete na..

Neil: aree yaar, ek baar tum hi call karke remmind kar dete yaar, tumhe pata to hai ki kaam ke time pe bhul jaata hu mai

Mini: acha ji, ab ye sab meri galti hai??

Neil: nahi.. ai..aisa nahi bola.....

Mini: ab matlab ulta chor kotwal ko daante?? Impossible Neil Oberoi

Neil: Acha meri maa thik hai ho gayi galti 🙏🏻 I'm sorry

Mini: you better be (pointing at him) bohot bhulakkad hote jaa rahe ho tum Neil Oberoi

Neil: ab taane maarna band karogi please 

Mini: mai kaha taane maar rahi hu, mai to sach bol rahi hu (she shrugged her shoulders)

Neil: ho gaya?? 

Mini: nahi

Neil huh?

Mini: jhoot kyu bola tumne??

Neil:...

Mini: chup kyu ho?? 

Neil (murmerring to himself): aur agar mai bol deta ki abhi abhi aaya hu, to tum mujhe maar nahi daalti?

Mini: ye apne aap se kya badbada rahe ho?? tumhe to mai (she punched his arm) 

Neil (holding his arm): aaahhh.. ye kisliye tha?? kyuuu??

Mini: ghar late aane ke liye aur jhoot bolne ke liye... kyu?? tumne maar khaane vali koi aur harkat ki kya??

Neil just stared at her with his mouth wide open, she giggled..

Neil (rubbing his arm, whispering to himself): kitni hinsavadi ladki hai yaar

Mini: kya kaha??

Neil: aree kuch nahi kaha 🙏🏻 (walking to his room) kitna zulm hota hai yaha mujh bechare pe..

She giggled at his state, he went and closed his room door, leaned on it and smiled, while smiled to herself.. Both had the same thing running on their mind..

MiNeil: kam se kam uska man to behel gaya 😃
