Just as Neil thought that he could pull off the facade even today, Mini declared

Mini: aaj jhut mat bolna Neil

Neil (cutting her) : nahi mini, usme tumhari galti nahi, meri thi..

Mini: tumhari?? Kaise Neil?? Tumhari galti kaise thi?? Tumne kuch nahi kiya Neil, stop blaming yourself please 🥺

Neil (in tears  by now) : vahi to problem hai na Mini, mai kuch kar hi nahi paaya 😭 I was helpless, Dadu, Biji, Arya, sab mujhpe trust karte hai, aur phirse I felt I was breaking their trust 😭
(Breaking down) And yours too mini 😣
Mini, tum vaha itne dard se guzar rahi thi, and I couldn't do anything, mai kuch nahi kar paaya, (his voice very low) nothing, nothing at all 😶

His face showed no expressions, but eyes spoke a thousand words. Mini spread her arms, and Neil went forward and hugged her as tight as he could.. His arms around her waist and head in her lap, he started crying like a child 🥺 Mini's one hand on his head caressing his hair, and another on his back, calming him down.. He was speaking between his sobs

Neil: mai.. mai dar gaya tha.. mini.. that fear of losing you... Just.. just... resurfaced 😭 mai tumhe nahi kho sakta mini😭 Vo ek shaam.. Neil Oberoi was a lifeless body, jab tak.. jab tak tumhari avaaz nahi suni na mini.. I was clueless.. I.. I was lost.. but.. but then.. (wiping his tears slightly) Krishna ji ki mandir dikhi.. then I realised, ki Arya.. Arya wait.. wait kar rahi hai humare liye.. phir mumma ki baate.. baate mujhe yaad aayi, and that faith.. and Arya's thought, made me.. made me get a hold on myself 😭 phir tum waha mili.. I felt jaise.. jaise I started breathing again mini..
(Still crying) mujhse apne aap ko sambhala nahi gaya mini😭 vo.. vo anajana sa darr.. man me jaise.. jaise ghar kar gaya.. (holding her tighter) aur.. phir.. maine sab ko call kiya.. pehle.. pehle na mini.. I was not sure.. whether I could face them.. kyunki.. kyunki mini, itna trust kisi ne mujhpe kiya hi nahi tha mini.. never😭 par pehli baar jab mai tumhari family se aur tumse mila to vo sab mujhe mila, everything.. par mini, sab ne mujhe itna.. itna support kiya.. jitna kabhi kisi ne nahi kiya.. (he started weeping badly again)

Mini was having tears all along, but she was just caressing his hairs, and letting him speak .. Because she knew that the only way now, was to let him let out all hai pain, all his worries and fears.. and she just made him do that.. After a good half an hour, he calmed down.. she made him face her, still on her lap, and wiped his tears, and he wiped her's..

Mini: Neil, mujhe dekho.. mai yaha hu, bilkul thik, tumhare samne.. aur mai kahi nahi jaa rahi.. Ye darr na apne man se nikal do.. Itni jaldi picha chutne nahi vala mujhse (he chukled) Aur, rahi baat family ki, vo meri nahi, humari family hai.. aur hum dono ke beech ye mera-tumhara kab se aa gaya ha??

Neil: 😬🤐 sorry 😐

Mini: Agli baar aisa bola na, to maar khaoge.. samjhe

Neil: 🙂 (and nodded)

Mini: ab bolo, mujhse thik se baat kyu nahi kar rahe the??

Neil: mai vo.. disturbed tha mini, vo.. kahi tumpe na nikal jaaye, isiliye....

Mini: isiliye tumne sabko yaha bula liya.. taaki tum mujhse Bach sako..

Neil: ha par vaise bhi, tumhara khayal mai akela kaise rakhta?? Meri to tum sunti nahi ho..

Mini: tum bol hi kaha rahe the itne dino se Neil?

Neil looked down.. He knew he had distanced himself from her, shouldn't have done that, but it cannot be undone now.. Mini made him face her.. and smiled

Mini: it's okay Neil, I understand kya chal raha tha tumhare man me.. mujhse nazre churane ki zarurat nahi hai tumhe ok?

Neil: hmm..

Mini just kept caressing his hair, and he held one of her hand.. After some time..

Mini: Neil.. (no reply) Neil.. (no reply)

She saw down, just to see him sleeping peacefully on her lap holding her hand.. She smiled at him, and let him sleep for some time, she sat there adoring her sleeping beauty ☺️

After some time, Neil woke up, and found himself sleeping in the same position, and looked up to mini already adoring him and smiling..
For the first time in a week, Neil smiled wholeheartedly ☺️

Mini: uth gaye??

Neil: nahi, abhi bhi so raha hu.. obviously utha hu yaar..

Mini: tum sidhe sawaal ka sidha jawab kyu nahi de sakte??

Neil: ye tum puch rahe ho?

Mini: Nahi.. pados wali aunty ki atma puch rahi hai 😏

They both (😑) but after sometime burst out laughing 😂❤️
Mini was happy to see him laughing from his heart again.. She finally got to see the old Neil Oberoi in him.. He got up, and went to get something, she frowned when she saw he had gone to get her medicines..

Mini: nahi yaar Neil 🙄 mujhe ye sab nahi khana..

Neil: Mini.. bas vitamin supplement aur painkillers hi to hai yaar.. par important hai.. kha lo..

Mini: nahi

Neil: Mini 😒

Mini: fine 🙄 (whispered) hitler kahi ka

Neil: mai nahi hu Hitler, tum ziddi ho

Mini: chup raho tum

Neil: tum medicine khao

And he forcefully gave the medicines and water to her and she had it unwillingly 😂 of course, Neil gave it to her, no scope of denial 😉
