Neil felt a sharp pain shooting in his head. He thought to sleep for a while and laid down on bed again holding his head due to the pain.. He was unable to sleep so he tossed and turned, the pain just worsened, finally, due to exhaustion he slept.. 

Outside in the hall

Preet: Mini ye le (handing her a packet) koi parcel aaya hai

Mini: Ha, maine mangvaya tha

Preet: kya hai??

Mini: Dekhti reh Preet kaure

She took out a frame from the packet and adored it lovingly, she showed it to Preet, it was a pic of the entire family.. Preet too became emotional looking at the pic.. It was taken just before Mini, Neil and Arya shifted to Bangalore. Mineil right in the middle, with Arya in front of them, Preet and Bobby next to Neil and Dadu, Biji and Naeem Bi next to Mini, taken in the haveli.. 
Bobby came there seeing the 2 girls standing there not uttering a single word, he saw it and smiled.. They showed it to everyone, and they loved it.

Biji: Kitni sundar tasveer hai na Khurana sahab?? Naeem bi??

Naeem Bi: Ha.. Vo to hai

Dadu: dekhiye to, isme sabhi hai.. Yaad hai shammi ji?? Uss din Neil photo me nahi aana chahta tha, zabardasti bulaya usko

Preet: Ha dadu, uske to alag hi tantrums hote hai

Biji: Aree hichkicha raha hoga, aap log bhi na... Kyu mini?? (looks around) Mini?? Ye Mini kaha gayi??

Preet (sighs): Vapis gayab ho gayi ye ladki.. Pata nahi kaha chali jaati hai, jab bhi emotional hoti hai, tab gayab!!

Naeem Bi: usko apne man ki jazbaat khulke batane honge, varna thik nahi hoga.. Vo darr ab bhi man me paal rakha hai usne, vo darr nikalna padega

Preet: Aur vo sirf Neil usse karva sakta hai.. Aur Neil se vo baat nahi kar rahi.

Dadu: Aree ye ladki bhi na...

In Neil's room,

Neil was sleeping in exhaustion when he woke up due to a huge burning sensation on his arm and Bobby's loud shriek.. He opened his eyes to see the most horrific sight..

It was Kabir, with a knife in his hand, and Bobby was holding him from attacking Neil any further, without a second thought, Neil jumped out of the bed and blew a hard punch on Kabir's face, and Bobby left him, the knife fell out of his hand and thanks to Bobby's presence of mind, he kicked the knife out of the room and locked the door so that Kabir can't escape or cause harm to anyone in the house...

By then, he got up to hit Bobby when Neil hit his leg from behind and he fell on his face... Neil held his arm to control the shooting pain, when Kabir again got hold of the vase on the nearby table until he felt someone hit his head. Bobby had hit his head and then his leg and he fell down on the ground.. Now he was unable to get up... By then, everyone had gathered outside the room and were shouting and banging the door..

Preet: Bobby veer ji, Neilll!!! Aap dono thik to ho na??? Neill!!! Bobby veer ji!!

Bobby (from inside): hum dono thik hai Preet, chinta mat kar..

Kabir started laughing

Bobby: hain?? Tu has raha hai?? Neil Bhai ye pagal vagal to nahi hai na

Neil: ye lakkadbagge jaise hasi tune uss Khatri se sikha hai kya (he said getting annoyed by his laugh) Bol?? Kyu aaya tha tu yaha?? Ab kya chahta hai??

Kabir: badla!!

Neil: what?? Kya badla??

Kabir: jo tune uss din kiya tha, uss Mini ke liye... Mera pehla badla to pura nahi hua, to ab...

Neil (shocked): kya pehla badla??

Bobby: tujhe to mai (Neil holds him)

Neil: kya bol raha hai ye?? (Looking at Kabir) kuch bhi bakvas karna band kar tthik hai?? Stop this nonsense..

Kabir: hehehe.. Ab kya nonsense kya sach, tere siva sabko pata hai Neil 😏

Neil: kya bakta jaa raha hai tu ha??

Kabir: kyu?? Tujhe nahi pata kya ki ye sab tujhse kuch chupa rahe hai??

Neil froze in his spot while Bobby picked up his phone and sent some message.. and then did something...

Neil (lost): kya bol raha hai ye Bobby??

Bobby: Neil Bhai.. vo..

Kabir: vo nahi batayega.. Teri pyaari mini ne mana ho kar rakha hai.

Bobby: muh band rakh tu... (Neil holds his hand)

Neil: bol do Bobby please.. i know mini ne mana kar diya hoga par bata de 🙏🏻 isse sunne se achha tere se sun lu please bata do.

Bobby (holds his hand): Neil Bhai aap ye kya kar rahe hai?? Please

Neil: to bol de na bhai

Neil was devastated.. he just couldn't take it anymore, while Bobby's promise to mini was stopping him from saying anything to Neil.. But seeing his condition, he decided to break it to him.. But before that, Kabir interrupted..

Kabir: vo nahi bol payega, mai help karta hu na.. To Neil Oberoi, tera accident maine khudne karvaya tha Aur ye baat tujhse chupayi gayi, aur to aur, accident ke baad, pata nahi kaise, iss bobby ne tujhe dhund liya aur hospital le aaye.. varna teri Jaan jaane vali thi .. itna fatal accident karvaya tha ..

Neil felt like the ground was snatched beneath his feet.. He staggered on his feet and Bobby caught him he released himself from his hold, Bobby was shocked .

Kabir: aree are, itne me hi sadma lag gaya? Janna chahte ho teri mini ki kya halat thi!? Jab Tera memory loss ka news usko bataya gaya??

This came as another shock for Neil.. He was going to forget his mini?? How would she handle this?? Memory loss??

Kabir: Aur phir Tera operation... Aur consent form uss dadaji ne sign kiya, Kyunki mini to Tut chuki thi...

Neil could take it anymore, he picked up Kabir and slapped him hard and he fell on the ground, Neil stormed towards the door and opened it.. He saw all the scared faces of everyone turn into shocked ones when they saw his condition..

Preet: Neil!! Tum...

He didn't listen to anyone just stopped them from saying any further..

Neil (sternly): Mini kaha hai??

Preet: Neil..

Neil: Preet bas ye btao mini kaha hai??

Preet: Neil listen, itne dino se vo kaha jaa rahi hai, vo kisi ko nahi bata rahi, bas apne emotions bahane ke liye kahi nikal jaati hai..

Neil: you are saying ki itne dino se Mini kahi Jaa rahi hai aur kisi ko pata nahi??

He asked in concern with hurt laced in his voice..

Neil: I'm sorry, I know mini badi ziddi hai, par (low voice) kisi ko to puchna chahiye na, maine bhi nahi pucha..

Dadu: khudko dosh mat do beta

Neil: aur kon hai, jo inn sab ka zimmedar hai?? Koi nahi... (Realising something) And I know for a fact ki vo kaha hai...

He stormed out of the haveli, all of rge shouts falling on deaf ears..
He was walking with such force without realising anything, his wounds, his pain, nothing mattered now.. After walking for a long time, he reached a place... And chuckled dryly as he was right, Mini was sitting right there, no emotions on her face, lost in her thoughts..

Mini: kaise bataun tumhe Neil?? Ki kya kya hua tha uss din.. kab tak chupaungi??

Neil (from behind): Kab tak chupane ka irada tha?? Bata do tab aaunga..

Mini was shocked to hear Neil's voice, she turned back to see Neil standing there devastated... By the sight of it, she was broken and knew he was too...
