3 days later

As Mini was wrapping up her project, she was too busy throughout the day, and hardly made some time at night to talk to Neil. Neil had been busy at the restaurant, but both of them terribly missed each other.. Neil took updates on the Bangalore branch, from the chefs there as Mini handed over the responsibility of the restaurant to Neil, but Neil Oberoi, being himself, would keep updating Mini occasionally.. 

Mini: Meera!! Yaar meera!! Sun!!

Meera: Bol.

Mini: Tune apne bags pack kiye kya??

Meera: Ha, par Mini, mai patiala me karungi kya??

Mini: Yaar, kaha kuch karna hai?? Mai tujhe job pe thodi laga rahi hu. Chal patiala me ghum, relax kar..

Meera: Ok fine, kar liye maine.. bas 1 week ke liye

Mini: Kyu??

Meera: kyu kya matlab?? Vapis bhi to aana padega na

Mini: hmm, chal abhi nikalte hai, varna late ho jayenge flight miss nhi karna

Meera: ha chal

They leave for the airport, locking the door and making sure they didn't leave anything behind..

Neil's side

Neil: yaar ye ladki bhi na, aaj hi phone nahi uthana usse

Preet: Neil, relax yaar, vo abhi uthi nahi hogi shayad, vo to hai hi soakkad kahi ki

Neil: ha, aur mujhe bolti thi, ' I don't like sleeping till late'

Dadu: Aree chid kyu Raha hai?? Kya hua??

Biji: Aur kya hoga?? Kal se baat nhi Hui hogi.. kyu??

Preet giggled and Neil was 😳

They left with Arya as they had to go out somewhere, when he tried calling her again and again

In the Airport

Mini: chalo, boarding to ho gyi, ek baar Neil ko call kar leti hu, varna pata nahi ghar sar pe utha le

She saw her phone

Mini: Oh my goodness!! matarani!!

Meera: kya hua??

Mini: Neil ke 15 missed call 😨

Meera: call kar na

Mini: ha

She called him and he picked it up in the first ring itself and started blabbering immediately

Neil: Miniii!!! Mai kab se call karne ki koshish kar raha hu, phone kyu nhi utha rahi thi?? Kaha ho?? So rahi thi kya?? Thik ho?? Tell na mini!!

Mini: tum chup karoge tabhi to bolungi na idiot

Neil: oh, sorry .. bolo

Mini: mai vo.. kuch kaam me thi.. itne saare missed call kyu chode??

Neil: tumne kal raat ko call nhi kiya tha, aaj mai kar raha hu to utha nahi Rahi ho..

Mini: Relax Neil.. acha suno, mai tumhe baad me call karti hu, bye

Neil: mini suno to.. Mini!!!

But she disconnected the call as the flight was about to take off, leaving Neil confused 🤔

Meera was on her phone, she was texting someone..

Meera: Yaar mini, mujhe na aaj patiala me ek friend ke ghar jaana hai, usse Milne

Mini: ha mil liyo, shaam ko haveli aa jaana

Meera: haveli?? Kyu mini?? Matlab, tere Ghar pe...

Mini: haveli me sirf Neil, mai aur Arya rehte hai, u don't have to worry

Meera: Arya?? Oh tumhari sister na..

Mini: ha..

Meera: aur vaise kaisi dost ho yaar tum? Apne boyfriend ka ek pic tak nahi dikhaya ab tak??

Mini: boyfriend 😳

Meera: offo, pagal, vo.. Neil!!

Mini: vo humare restaurant ka head chef hai.. aur mera tenant..

Meera: to vo tumhara boyfriend nahi hai??

Mini:...

Meera: bas bas.. sab dikhta hai mujhe..

Mini: bas kar ab, tu bhi preet mat ban Jaa

Meera: Preet, oh, tumne bola tha ur childhood best friend hai na??

Mini: ha.. vohi.. tu bata, tera koi boyfriend nahi hai??

Meera: abhi tak koi Mila hi nahi..

Mini: mai dhundti hu tere liye

Meera: chup kar, flight take off karne wala hai, phone off kar de

The flight took off.. it was a 45min flight, and 30 mins from airport to haveli..
Mini had texted Preet that she was coming and Preet told she didn't think that Neil remembered that, and that she would meet her in the evening..

Meera, after the flight landed, went to meet her friend, and Mini went straight to the haveli.. She stopped the taxi in front of the haveli, and stepped out. She didn't see Neil in the balcony or outside.. So she sighed and decided to go inside herself.. She entered, without making any noise, and saw the lights off, and no one could be seen..

Suddenly the lights went on, but she still didn't see anyone.. She was confused

Mini: ye kya?? Lagta hai koi nahi hai, par darvaza kisne khula chod diya?? Neil Oberoi!! Tumhe to mai chodungi nahi..

Just then, she heard something fall, in her room.. She stormed into the room, and turned on the light, just to see the room beautifully decorated ❣️
Scented candles, balloons, flowers, she sensed Neil's presence around her.. She wiped the tears which formed in her eyes, and was about to call his name, and before she knew it, she was gently gripped by 2 strong arms from behind.. she was startled but sensing the touch she smiled...

Neil: Welcome back mini madam 💕

He whispered to her ears sending shivers to her body, her hands instinctively reached to his hand on her waist.. She leaned on to his touch..

Mini: I missed you Neil Oberoi 🥺

Neil: acha?? I didn't miss you at all..

He joked, to change her mind, and mini hit her elbow on his stomach, making him lose his grip and shout

Neil: Aaaa!! Ye kya kiya??

Mini: kya bol rahe the?? (She asked turning to him)

Neil: kuch nahi bola Maine 🙏🏻

She giggled at his plight and he forgot everything, hearing her giggles resonate in the entire house after months, was something Neil had awaited fr a long time.. He saw her adoring the decorations and finally she reached to her side table where he had kept something, she saw a box and opened it..

Mini: Oh my goodness!! Matarani!! Pastry??!!

Neil: khake dekho mini madam, shayad aapka favourite flavour ho..

Mini: acha 😏

She took the spoon which he kept nearby and tasted it..

Mini: Mmm.. Yaar Neil this is the best.. Butterscotch pastry, wahh this is too good 😌

Neil flaunted his collar and she smiled at his antics , she enjoyed her pastry..

Mini: vaise to cakes me mera favourite to babes ke haath ka cake hai, par pastries me true that, butterscotch is the best 😁

Neil smiled at her enjoying the pastry like a small child..
