Neil noticed that it's almost early morning, so he made sure she was sleeping and tried to get out of the bed, he did, but when he walked, he noticed that she was holding his little finger.. He smiled, and sat down next to her on the chair, admiring her serene, tranquil face after a long time, and unknowingly slept there itself..

Late morning 🌻

Mini woke up to see Neil sleeping while sitting on the chair, she was confused, but then she saw their fingers interwined.. She smiled at it. She had a proper look of his face after days.. Tears welled up in her eyes looking at him, his face was pale, hands cold, she could feel the tension running through his veins.. She wiped her tears, and cupped his face, he was in deep sleep.. She silently kissed his forehead and his lips formed a smile, like he recognised her touch even in such a deep sleep. She slowly got out of bed, and left his finger silently and went to freshen up, with a smile, after a long time..

Neil woke up after some time, and almost had a panic attack when he didn't see Mini there, just then, she came out of the washroom. He sighed in relief... She shouted..

Mini: Rani didi!! Neil bhi uth gaya hai, do chai bana doge please??

Neil's face adorned with his signature smile, hearing her chirpy voice early in the morning, and Mini smiled seeing him smile, but his swollen eyes still pricked her heart, but she silently vowed to make everything right now... She walked up to him..

Mini: Neil Oberoi!! Ye kya hai?? Tum restaurant nahi gaye itne din se?? Ha??

Neil: 😯

Mini: 🤨

Neil: vo.. kya karu mai?? Tum dono ladkiyo ko ghar pe chodke jaunga, to pata nahi kiske Jaan pe ban aaye!!

Mini: Neil Oberoi!! I'll kill you!!!

He got up sensing danger.. And ran around her bed and stood on other side... She threw a pillow at him and it landed straight on his face 😂 He whined like a kid!!

Neil: Aree!! Sach hi to hai!! Ek tum!! Hinsavadi kahi ki!! Dusri Meera!! Vo bhi hinsava...

His words died in his mouth and his face changed at the mention of Meera.. Mini noticed this..

Neil (low voice): Aaj kal to vo baat tak nahi karti..

Mini was hurt seeing him like this, but what broke her was the thought that he would've been worse in these past few days.. She walked to him and held his shoulder..

Mini: Jo bhi hua hai, Meera ko isse bahar aana padega, aur uske liye, hum hai na uski help karne ke liye!!

Neil nodded, and pulled her into a hug, she rubbed his back to calm him down. Then, Neil went downstairs.. Preet and Bobby came there as usual.. They were surprised at Neil's smile early in the morning, after a long time, they heard his cheerful voice..

Neil: Good morning!!

They stood not yet emerging out of the surprise.. And Neil noticed it.. He smiled to himself, and called out...

Neil: Minii!!!

They were shocked, and speechless when they saw Mini, with a beautiful smile adorning her face, ran down the stairs.. Preet's eyes watered.. As soon as Mini reached there, she pulled her into a tight hug 🫂 Mini hugged her back.. Bobby hugged Neil, and he calmed Bobby down..

Mini: Preet kaure.. Ab ro mat yaar.. (pulled apart) ab aansu poch le.. (she wiped her tears) Ab koi nahi royega..

Bobby: Ha.. Par Mini, Meera??

Mini: Tu bada Meera Meera kar raha hai 🤨

Bobby: Nahi bas, aise hi puch liya.. matlab chinta to rehti hai na..

Neil: abhi tak kuch nahi yaar!! Pata nahi kya karu..

Mini: Relax Neil.. kuch to kar lenge..

They go into Meera's room, and Neil stays outside.. Mini went in, and saw her sitting on bed, staring blankly at the walls.. She went and sat next to her.

Mini: Meera, tu thik hai??

Meera nodded

Mini: bol na yaar kuch

Meera stayed quiet... Even after trying a lot, they couldn't get anything out of her, Mini made her eat the food and came out.. she saw Neil there..

Neil: Khilake aayi ho na?? Kuch bol nahi rahi hai, bed pe baithe diwaro ko taad rahi hai bas... Hai na?? Yahi to chalta aa raha hai itne dino se..

Mini sighed.. They spent the day trying to light up Meera's mood, but in vain.. At night, only MiNeil, Arya and Meera were at home.. MiNeil were not feeling sleepy and were in no mood to go out so were simply walking in silence inside the haveli, when they heard some slight noices from Meera's room.. They peeped inside the window, to see the most terrifying sight... She was tossing and turning on the bed, shaking her legs vigorously, and shivering... At the sight of it, she was having a nightmare. She woke up shouting and before MiNeil could go inside, she was on the floor, crying bitterly..

Mini ran to her and hugged her tight, she recognised mini, and hugged her back..

Meera: Mini.. Mini..

Mini: Mai hi hu..

Meera: Vo... Kabir...

Mini: vo yaha nahi hai!! Relax!! Rona band kar yaar!! Shhhh

Meera calmed down, and Mini made her sit on the bed.. Neil didn't move an inch from the door... Mini and Meera were sitting on the bed.

Meera: College ke baad, mai ek jagah photography course kar rahi thi.. Tabhi ek din jab bahar aa rahi thi, to I saw a boy, jo mujhe hi dekh raha tha.. Mai bohot uncomfortable thi, so mai ghar chali gayi, par vo har din aata tha... Kuch din baad, vo mujhse baat karne laga ... He spoke sweetly, to mai usko ek friend ke tarah baat karne lagi. Par vo kuch aur samajhne laga, usne khud ko introduce Kiya, mujhe bahar le jaane laga.. And one day he proposed me...

Her voice started shivering, she held Mini's hand.. Mini assured her

Meera: Maine mana kar diya, to usse gussa aa gaya.. Then he started following me, har jagah... He was acting like some stalker, vo mere friends ko dhamkane laga, ek din mai sab kuch clear kar dena chahti thi, to usne mujhpe haath uthaya.... Phir..
