Still in each other's embrace, Neil asked the question he dreaded the most. 

Neil: Mini.. Kab.. jaana hai tumhe Australia??

Mini noticed the hint of sadness in his voice which he tried to cover up, but failed. She broke the hug, and held his hand. 

Mini: Arya ke birthday ke baad.. 

Neil: Ek hafte mein..

She nodded. He was lost in his thoughts, and she saw that.

Neil: Kitne mahinon ka project hai??

Mini: 2 mahine..

He smiled slightly, but 2 months was still too much for them.

Mini: Neil.. Tum aur Arya bhi aa jao na Australia mere saath.. Vaise bhi chutanki ke holidays chal rahe hai..

Neil: Par 2 mahine thodi chalenge Mini holidays.. 2 hafton me usko vapis school jaana padega na.. Aur yahan, restaurant, sab kuch toh hai hi..

She nodded. 

Neil: Chalo.. So jao.. 

Mini: So jao matlab?? Tum bhi chalo..

She pulled him, and both of them slept, rather, Neil had a sleepless night. He slept only after midnight. Mini woke up in the morning to see Neil clasping her palm tight. She was shocked, seeing him tossing and turning in bed, sweating from head to toe. He woke up with a jerk, but before he could react, Mini held his hand, which he jerked off. 

Mini: Neil suno!!

He shut his eyes. She held both his shoulders and shouted, bringing him out of his trance.

Mini: Neil, suno!! Kuch nahi hua hain!! Look at me!!

Her voice brought him out of his nightmare. He looked at her with teary eyes, and hugged his by her waist. She rubbed his back, and calmed him down. He calmed down after a few minutes.

Neil: I'm sorry...

Mini: Sshh.. So jao..

He nodded in no. 

Mini: Acha, jaake fresh hoke aa jao.. Go..

He got up, and went to freshen up. She went out, and stood in the balcony lost in her thoughts.

Mini (in mind): Aaj phir se.. Kyu?? Why?? Aise Neil ko kaise chodke jaun?? Par ab kya karoon?? Calm down Mini, nightmare tha.. Common hai, calm down. Par, agar aisa phir se hua toh?? Matarani!! Mujhe kuch samajh nahi aa raha..

She was so lost that she didn't notice when Neil came to her with tea. 

Neil: Kahan khoyi ho madam??

Mini: Ha?? Kahin nahi.. 

She took the tea cup, and took a sip.

Neil: Mini, do you trust me?

Mini: What kind of a question is this??

Neil: Yes or No?

Mini: of course yes yaar!!

Neil: Toh tum Australia jaogi!! Aaj subah jo bhi hua, uski vajah se tum apna plan me koi change nahi karogi?? Hmm??

She just stared at him blankly for a few seconds. 

Mini: Par Neil..

Neil: So I was right.. Tum apna decision reconsider kar rahi ho?
