The Second Temple of Betrayal

"You've arrived. Come closer. Can you smell that?" (Y/N) nodded and Aether answered.

"It's the smell of burnt Pyro slimes."

"Something must have happened in the temple. I imagine there will be slimes, Hilichurls and... whatever is giving Stormterror extra power. Oh yes, it is going to be lively in there indeed!"

"No doubt nothing more than a disorderly mob of creatures."

"Oh, ho-ho! You're quite the brave one, aren't you?" Kaeya said to Aether, but he didn't seem to think so at all. Instead, he took a glance at (Y/N).

Kaeya's POV

I have never seen her fight and it seems that nobody else has either, what will the doll do? Will she be a hinder and someone we need to protect? No. I doubt it. After all, she looks quite brave and knowing, and she was the one to choose to help out. I just have to wait and see, it seems.

"It's a pity that the Temple of the Wolf has been disturbed by such an atrocity. Let's head in. No one makes offerings to the Four Winds anymore, yet the old winds never vanish... We need to clear out the temples, for the Four Winds." Kaeya then walked up to the temple, and as soon as the other three was there, he opened the temple door.

"My first chance to fight alongside you, think we'll make a good team?" Kaeya's eyes met Aether's gold ones. And they got inside.

The second temple looked a bit like the first, with stone walls and floors with patterns, and the whole place being dusty. On the sides of the floor was a great ravine for a bit before the floor started to cover a bigger area. All of them walked up to an ope door.

"Let me show you how the Knights of Favonious conquer our adversaries!" The tanned man said and picked up his sword.

Then it will take another while before i can answer Aether what weapon I have, and if Lisa the librarian is going to show off her skills that time he gets an answer might never come, since if I don't fight, I will be to no help.

The team of two fighters and two bystanders walked forward, and they were on some kind of balcony again. Kaeya let his eyes wander up.

"Hmm. If I'm not mistaken, the end of the temple should be up there." he pointed up and well, it looked as i he was right.

"Wait... how do you know?" Paimon's high voice echoed in the place and Aether facepalmed.

"Heh. Experience. The kin of experience you get after years of dealing with things like this for others." Kaeya smirked before opening his glider and flied down. A part of the floor was filled with water and there were Hilichurl's in there. (Y/N) tapped his shoulder.

"Aether, before you go down there, let me explain Kaeya's Vision. It's a Cryo one, means that he Hydro affected - the water affected - Hilichurl's will freeze. That makes Cryo powerful in rain while Pyro has a slight disadvantage if the fire goes out. Though even Pyro has a great elemental reaction, professionally called Vaporize." she then opened her beautiful light blue glider and slide down to look at Kaeya while he handled the monsters.

Aether now understood why she hadn't fought earlier, he didn't get a chance to swing his sword either, but hopefully he would. When the fight ended he took a glance to Aether as the door with a square in front of them opened.

"Traveler... unless I'm mistaken. You don't seem to have a Vision." the blond boy nodded. "So how exactly is it that you're able to channel elemental energy?" the four was walking into an open-space room with fence on one side and further up low stairs to a room beside the one they had entered.
