When Aether and Paimon had placed the food on the Adepti table, a seal was opened in the ruins. They went inside but (Y/N) didn't bother follow them in hope the blonde boy would call for her if he needed help.
It took 15 minutes.
Then 30.
She sighed and looked at the sky. She didn't want to go into the ruins and meet the surprisingly aggressive bird-beast, but if they didn't come out soon she would have to. It was boring to sit in the sun and just wait, but it was her only choice. She then remembered what she could do to pass time. The (h/c) headed girl looked around to make sure no-one was there, but only nature and its creatures could see her. She sighed an her eyes turned dreamy and she thought... which one? She smiled to herself and then closed her eyes.

"H-heh?" she said when Aether and Paimon clapped their hands for her. "You're back? When did you come?"
"Somewhere after the first chorus. Paimon really likes your voice!" Aether nodded and looked at her with big eyes, mesmerized.
"Your voice is so smooth. You sound as if you haven't done anything but singed in your life!" the girl fell to her knees and supported herself with her hands. She looked down so no one could see her face. "Are you okay?!" Aether asked worried. She trembled.
"... I... I'm so embarrassed..." he managed to catch a glimpse of her face, and it was bright red. She stood in that pose for a while, before she got up, and now her face only had a red hue. She cleared her throat.
"I take that Cloud Retainer understood the situation?"
"Actually, it sounded as if she wanted to kill everyone in Liyue." Paimon said in a matter-of-fact tone.
"She is as violent as ever... in all old stories Cloud Retainer has the most fighting ones, nearly no stories about her heroic saving if she has any."
"Huh... you really should've said that before we walked in."
"I trusted you two to call me. Well, if you're done, there's another Adeptus to talk to, and this time, I can go with you."
"Really?!" Paimon sounded so happy.
"The next one probably won't hate me like other Adepti... next place is Wangshu Inn, a public inn which houses an Adepti, the Conqueror of Demons. The Inn is quite famous for the location - a pretty view, the food - delicious, and the good service. Personally, that's my favorite place that an Adeptus live in. No time to lose, we don't want the day to end before we're done." she got them going with a harsh tone and Aether and Paimon sweat-dropped.
"Oh, this is Wangshu Inn?" Paimon said when they finally had climbed up the stairs to outside the lobby. "Compared to Jueyun Karst this place seems basic. Are we really gonna find an Adeptus here?" she seemed to doubt it but trusted (Y/N)'s knowledge.
"We walk up here to the balcony. That's were we will find him - if he will come out." she pointed at a staircase and her companions sighed when they saw more stairs.
"Is this the stair-hell?" (The Misaki Stairs *slapped) he seemed annoyed by the building.
They walked out on the balcony and wow, it was pretty.
"Oh? He's not here." Paimon said but it didn't seem to shock nor bother the older girl, she just walked up to the railing and looked out.
The sun was now a little more orange and the scenery was magic. Aether stood beside her and his eyes widened when he saw what she saw. The water was shining in the same color as the sun rays and there was a big island in the middle of the big lake. There were mountains further away that framed a river tat flowed to the lake. It seemed as if all the trees on the little island was painted in shining gold.
"I can never see enough of this." (Y/N) smiled a little. "Can you?" but she didn't talk to Aether or Paimon.
"A sigil of permission? You came prepared." a man said He was short and stood by the railing, but neither Paimon or Aether noticed him, so they looked surprised. "Though this only prevents me from hurting you myself. Doesn't stop you from getting hurt in other ways."
"Guess so. No mask?" she asked and looked into his golden eyes that seemed even brighter in the late sun. His turquoise hair-locks along with his black hair and the blue-violet diamond shape in his pale forehead made him look mysterious, and some may take him as young with his slender and somewhat short build. But he ignored her and kept talking to the other two.
"Too much contact with our world is breaking the rules. Mortal souls are not as robust as those of Adepti, nor can your body carry this level of Adeptal energy. It's for your own good. Leave. Now." he looked (Y/N) in her eyes while uttering the last sentence. She only sighed at him. He turned around to look at the water.
"Wait a sec, we came here to..." but he disappeared.
"Argh, Paimon's... peeved! All he does is think about himself!"
"You do understand that's not at all true?" she didn't listen.
"Paimon wants to give him an ugly nickname... but if you tick off an Adeptus, the only thing you'll probably ever find in treasure chests are cabbages! Bleurgh!" she said with a disgusted face.
"We can talk to the boss here, Verr Goldet. She probably knows how to reach him." (Y/N) suggested.
"Let's." Aether nodded.
