"So, we don't have anything to do before the Rite..." Paimon muttered, then shone up. "Paimon knows what we'll do! Let's have a snack!"
"A snack?" (Y/N) asked. "Sure, I guess we can... but I don't have the ingredients to make a snack."
"That's easily fixed! Let's buy something instead of making our own."
"Buy...? Isn't that kind of a waste of Mora." (Y/N) sweat dropped.
"No way! You've promised Paimon so many times you'll get Paimon a snack!"
"Well, that is true..." the red girl sighed, then slowly nodded for herself. "There's a restaurant next street where they sell good looking snacks, and the people eating there gives good feedback. Let us see their menu."
"Yay! Paimon'll get a snack!"
"If they have ingredients I can cook it myself, it'll take less Mora." (Y/N) hummed.
"You really care of how much things cost, huh? Paimon, you should learn from (Y/N)." Aether joked.
"Hey! Paimon can save Mora perfectly well- ohhh look (Y/N)! Paimon wishes she had such a pretty sword!" the girl fan girled over the most expensive item in a shop a second after trying to tell her friends she wasn't that much of a shopper.
"This is it, eyes on the road Paimon." (Y/N) pointed to a well-visited restaurant, then went up to the desk. "Excuse me, do you have any good snacks?" she asked the chef, and he looked down with a smile.
"Sure do! My daughter's the best at cooking, I'll get her for you." and he turned around to fetch the daughter.
"Paimon's so exited for the food!"
"Calm down, I want to see the menu prices first, this is a popular place after all." (Y/N) sighed.
Finally, the chef returned with someone behind him.
"Here she is, she'll make you a snack."
The girl walked to the trio, now not hidden anymore. She had yellow and brown clothes with a red bow being her, and she had dark blue hair braided in a very cool way. Her eyes were as yellow as her clothes and as bright as could be, and around her waist hung a little bear-like figure, and on the other side there was a red gem glowing bright, one known as a Pyro Vision.
"Hello, my name is Xiangling! Nice to meet you! I am a chef, and I work ere at Wanmin Restaurant! Hang on.... it's the traveler and Paimon!" the girl then said.
"Hi Xiangling!" Paimon waved happily.
"Oh, sorry. We met when they borrowed the kitchen to use silk flowers to make... perfume, I think? I haven't met you though, what's your name?" Xiangling said with a grin.
"I'm (Y/N), a writer on traveling foot. I came to Liyue with Aether and Paimon to gather new inspiration for my new novel. I am here to get a snack for Paimon. Do you have any affordable to suggest...?"
"Oh! Yes, always!" Xiangling nodded. "There's the sunsettia pudding, no wait, that one is rather pricey... then, we have a cracker with berries and cheese, along with a jelly made with slime condensate! There are others, of course, but those aren't for a good price if they're just snacks for an everyday occasion.."
"Thank you. What is the price."
"One hundred and fifty mora per cracker."
"That is not as bad as it could have been..." the red girl mused to herself.
"No! Sorry, I'm just so stupid, but for this cracker I'd rather use day fresh condensate, and I haven't gotten any from today." the girl bowed. "I beg your pardon."
