While Aether and the rest was gone, (Y/N) was bored. But nothing she couldn't handle. She had gotten used to be around the blonde boy, and she didn't realize that until he was gone.
Just yesterday the meeting in the tavern had taken place, and it was maybe an hour before lunch time. (Y/N) walked around on the streets of Mondstadt and looked at the shops, the houses, the strange house for rent at Goth Grand Hotel with a seal that nobody had broken yet...
She sighed in her mind, closing her eyes, just feeling the air in front of the Barbatos statue. The wind made her hair fly a little and the hem of her dress was flowing around her as if it was water she was in. It sure was pretty, and with the fresh light and blue sky it was the ideal thing a painter would draw. (Y/N) opened her eye, wondering to herself of she should try sitting in the hands of the gigantic statue, just like Venti often did. But no, maybe not now. People would look at her. She walked around the place, past a child jumping up and down, a nun, one of the girls that trained to become a knight, and many others. She was just about to go down the stairs and walk around the streets by Angel's Share when she heard someone call her name.
"(Y/N)? Hey! It's nice to see you again!" she turned around to the cathedral where the Outrider of the city just came from.
"Hello Amber. Anything I can do for you?"
"Oh no, not at all! I just saw you so I thought I might chat for a while."
"I see. Did you run an errand at the cathedral just now?"
"Actually, Kaeya sent for some reports and asked me to get them..."
"But isn't that the job for normal knights and rookies? Not the one and only Outrider Amber?"
"Well, in one way yes... but also no... as an Outrider, I shall do whatever for the city, especially as a part of the Ordo Favonious!"
"Ah, I understand." Amber smiled at (Y/N) as something came to mind.
"You seem to be talking a lot more than before, no stuttering."
"Maybe being around people has that impact."
"Yeah, interesting I think!"
"Interesting? How come?"
"You didn't talk much before, maybe because you mostly didn't interact with friends, but once you started to help the Knights, you opened up! It's mostly just pleasant, but i also find it interesting."
"I see your point." (Y/N) smiled a little. "Maybe you're right. It makes me happy talking to you right now."
"Hearing you say that is making me happy! Well, what are you doing now?"
"Nothing. I'm just walking around."
"Then what about lunch together?" Amber got a pretty smile.
"Sounds wonderful."
They decided that Good Hunter would be the place to eat at and they got a table. Luckily, it seemed most customers decided to have an early lunch, so the tables were basically empty besides the two red girls.
"Hmm... I think I'll have a beef and a satisfying salad please!" Amber chirped to the waitress, visibly happy about the two of them spending time together.
"I will have the Calla Lily seafood soup please." (Y/N) ordered. As they waited for their dishes the girls chatted.
"Eula was so surprised to see me in Dragonspine that she nearly forgot to act like a noble!"
"Really? You go there so rarely that she got chocked?"
"Oh you should have seen her, she was all like "O-oh. Amber, such a pleasant surprise to see you in this rather unusual climate. May I ask your business?" Oh Barbatos, her face!"
