"How have you been, Ruby?" Madame Ping smiled gently at the girl.

"I've been just okay, how about you?"

"No no, no talk about me. Tell me what have happened since I last saw you, all those years ago."

"Oh... that? Not much..."

"I don't believe you for a second, going around with a flying child acting like your daughter and a youngster who've completely fallen for you. No, dear, that I'll not believe."

"Again, this word "fallen". The only thing I have seen who has fallen is Amicitia."

"Oh, old memories about that place is coming up to the surface. I remember when you took me to the House Of Lost Children. You are such a sweet person, with that House where everyone can be. It is a solution to all the problems you can have, you get food, a home, friends, a job if you need to, help and also an adoption center. How wonderful isn't that? It must've taken ages to get that up and working."

"It was the first thing built in the city, so it could have as much place as needed, and also, since it was a place to go to during attack, it needed a lot more work than the houses around." (Y/N) said.

"Oh, but the houses around were also very secure, higher than most private places. The whole city itself was secure, so it's unbelievable that it went down..." Ping seemed sad as she thought of the city with all the good memories.

"Well, Saphielis had good blood with the Tsaritsa, so she had no choice."

"I can't set myself in it, you saw your home go down in flames and the citizens get killed, yet you do not hate Tsaritsa or her people...?"

"Oh, I hate the Fatui and the Harbingers, but Tsaritsa is just their puppet, she can't be blamed with her good heart."

"Yet the blood in your veins run with the fresh kindness like a river. I must say, I don't think anyone else could stay with your humble way if they'd watch their everything vanish in betrayal."

"I must see with positivism, I can not let shadows blind me and make me see red, looking away from the truth."

"But you are looking away, you say Saphielis is a god of Misfortune and Destruction, yet you know she's the most humble of all the Archons."

"She is not. She is gone, left to waste. She couldn't protect her city, and so she should not be able to forgive." (Y/N) said with bitterness in her eye. An emotion despite her lifeless eyes, and not a good feeling.

"Does the prophesy child feel the same?" Ping answered.

"Cara? Last time I saw her was way time back. She still thought the Blood Archon was in no wrong, that she was forced to spread rumors about the one she served. Her Vision became something she treasured, even when others hated it. I often sat listening to her stories, she might've know that. I am happy she did as asked of her, but it was no demand. Every person from Amicitia or the ones who've stayed there has all the rights to say whatever they want."

"Except not. The most treasured rule was to not badmouth anyone. You could say things with politeness, then it was considered within law, but right out saying something mean was not allowed. Why ask her to break her Nation's holy rule?" the lady muttered to herself with a frown.

"It was stupid, something just to see if she'd do it, but also to make sure that all traces of Amicitia was gone in the dust and the red sky. To make sure the same thing would never be repeated and that the Blood Archon would never descend ever again." the girl said with cold (e/c) orb. She did not hold any respect to that god, did she?

"You tell me about the child Cara. You liked her, didn't you?" Madame Ping said after a long quiet frown.

"She was a mid-age therapist living in the House. She as way too old to get a prophesy, yet she did. She saved time to let more citizens survive, and my memory of her will always be a savior and someone who meant good. That she got a Vision was a gambling, hoping she wouldn't hate it. She fought with a Scythe in the fight, and swung it with pride. I wished I could have been her friend, if we didn't meet because of that dream. I wish that Amicitia would be standing today, but perhaps most of those who've seen the city wishes so."

"Yes dear, if only that place would have been around for longer. All who knows you thinks so. Seeing you stand in the flames by ashes of the lost Amicitia, that was such a tragic view, and I never want to see your face like that again." Madame Ping had sadness in her voice, but the frown she wore disappeared soon. "More cheery things now, Ruby. What made you travel with company?"

"Aether is looking for his sister and will soon find out what has become of her, and I think he wants to find all gods, including Saphielis. I should be there once she is found." (Y/N) said with the causality as if it was the weather they spoke of. "And Paimon - not to be rude but I'm afraid that child won't make it far on her own. Better have one adult on the travel rather than only a teenager's mind."

"I suppose so." it went quiet for a while. "You said something about the Glaze Lilies, what was it?"

"All things must change you said, and I answered that change is neutral. I suppose that is what you meant, with the withering flower's change?"

"No no, about happiness with friends on a field..."

"Oh, A blooming Glaze Lily field is such a great place to spend time with your friends. You help the flowers bloom while it's healthy for you to be out in the fresh and have fun. Is that what you mean?"

"Just right. It is about the God of Dust?"

"Guizhong's favorite flower was Glaze Lilies. We once had a picnic on a field of them, and she said she'd never seen the flowers so blooming."

"Well, take the youngsters to that field. Now they're here, let's talk more later."

Happy late new years!

I'm here, after been gone for 4 days... that took longer than I expected and this chapter is still weird...

More clues of the past are in here, but maybe they're hard to see? Maybe not?
