Kinagabihan, wala akong ibang maisip kung hindi ang naging pag-uusap namin ni Ramona sa Starbucks. Lahat ng kwento niya tungkol sa mga panahong lumayas siya, hanggang sa magising siya mula sa coma at ngayong nag-aaral siya sa law school.
Anim na taon ang nagdaan. Sa wakas, nagkita na ulit kami. Pero hindi ko akalain na sa maikling panahon na nakasama ko siya kanina, nagawa niyang iparamdam sa akin ang iba't ibang klaseng emosyon sa loob lang ng mahigit isang oras na magkasama kami.
Bigla kong naalala 'yung PerDev project niya na nasa akin. Ngayong nagkita na kami ni Ramona, p'wede ko nang basahin ang isinulat niya ro'n, katulad ng ipinangako ko sa sarili ko.
Bumangon ako at pumunta sa bookshelf ko. Kinuha ko ang clear folder niyang nakatayo sa tabi ng mga aklat ko at binuklat 'yon, saka bumalik sa kama at naupo. Binasa ko ang assessment niya sa akin nang mabuti saka ang summary niya sa bawat area.
Intellectual Area:
Caleb is very intelligent! That was the first thing that I noticed from him the first day I went to this school. Like, he could answer and solve a math problem even though he is sleeping the whole discussion!
I like Calculus but I need to study it more. But with him, he can ace it even though he is dreaming and sleeping peacefully in class. He likes studying but he likes sleeping even more. I always ride the jeepney with him but he never knew about my existence at first because he's always sleeping. Meh. He looked like an angel, by the way, when he's sleeping.
Physical Area:
His body is not as fit as our other classmates but he knows how to do sports! If he'll give himself extra time to workout, he might have a fit body and he will look more handsome than he is now. It will look great on him, especially that he is tall.
I also knew that he likes jogging. I saw him running a few times in the middle of the night. Once, I saw him jogging at 2:00 AM when I was in the car. We went to Manila that time and only got home by 2:00 AM. I guess he's pushing himself to exhaustion so he could get some sleep.
Spiritual Area:
Caleb told me in the church that his faith was shaken because of everything that happened to his life but I guess, he's just lonely. He just wanted someone to come with him to the church. I realized that because it was him who always initiates to go to church.
