I hope that Matcha is right. I guess that many here practice different types of magic all around. Still, it looks like everyone gets along pretty well!

Then it hit me. "AH! Matcha where are we going to stay for tonight!?" Oh great! I didn't think of this before and I'm not going to spend it like some homeless kid! Even though we basically are!

"Okay, why don't you two stay with us? We have an extra room. Sorry, I couldn't help but over hear your conversation." Madeline offered. Matcha smiled at thanked the two of them for letting us stay.

Oh thank the lord. I'm surprised they let some random kids into their house but it's whatever. Wait..their house? Are they together or something?

Well, it doesn't matter. They lead us into a guest room and I couldn't help but thank them again.

"Are we like some adopted kids now?" Matcha bounced up on the bed excitedly.

"Why does that make you happy?" I crossed my arms and looked at her confused.

"Well they seem super nice! Plus we're run aways remember?" Yes because I forgot about our trash home. Whatever we're not there anymore and I'm happy about it.

The next day all of them were up and outside. I decided to explore the house before going outside to where they were. I came across a pretty big room with many test tubes and books.

"Woah what is this room?" I continued to look around. These experiments look pretty recent! Who's doing them though?

I walked over to a chalkboard. Holy crap look all the math on here! I wonder why they don't use a calculator.

"What are you doing?" I turned around to see Espresso. Ah! That's so embarrassing!

"Oh-I was just-uh-looking around and came across this room! I was just about to leave anyway!" Though I did want to look around just a little more, I wouldn't have any better excuse than that.

I could tell he didn't want to believe me but he let it go. I followed him out of the house and met up with Madeline, Matcha, and Chai.

"There you are! You sleep for too long!" Matcha complained. I just rolled my eyes.

"Well Madeline, I'm going to go an run some experiments." That was Espresso?? I didn't know that. Who knew that he was incredibly smart! Maybe I could ask if he could help with increasing my skill on Coffee magic? Eh that'd kind of be embarrassing to ask.

"Can't you just go a day without work?" Madeline pulled Espresso back to where we were standing. He just groaned and rolled his eyes. "I'll just get it done later I suppose." Espresso said crossing his arms.

"Well I'm going to go and look around a little bit. I'm also going to look for Chai." I walked off. Though I really wanted to practice coffee magic at the moment.

Before Espresso came, I decided to borrow a book since I'll most likely be back to return it later.

I went into the woods and followed the path to a field. By the way, I knew exactly where Chai was and she is perfectly fine and with someone at the moment.

I sat down and began reading. I tried one of the easier ones from the book. It was just as simple as making a coffee bean float. It wasn't hard at all, really easy in fact. Though I didn't realize how fast time was going.

It was late in the afternoon and I'm sure that they're wondering where I am. So I exited the woods and walked over to Matcha who was looking for me.

We went back to our "room" and I guess I could keep this book for a little longer..!

Matcha noticed that I was holding the book. "Hey..you didn't steal that from anyone did you?" Why the hell would she just randomly say that? I'm going to return it, it is kind of stealing but he'll get it back so it's really fine.

We went to bed of course and the next morning I tried a whole bunch of newer things. I brought a note book and took small notes on how to do harder things.

It was super enjoyable actually. I wonder why this would be quite an addiction of mine.

ACK-Oh my god! I could've started a fire there um..well that could've been a really big disaster..

One day I was trying something else, trying to write down the symbols and stuff.

"Hm, don't forget to use the cumin on top of the firl symbol." Eh? Who was behind me? I turned around to see Espresso?! AWHA HOW EMBARRASSING!

"Oh. Right." I said awkwardly.

"Jeez why are you all hidden over here? It took forever to find you!" He took a seat next to me. Oh that's amazing!... Is it possible to feel embarrassed with second hand embarrassment of yourself? Cause if it isn't then I just broke physics.

To my surprise, he started to help me. "I'm surprised you don't know most of this, I'm not trying to be rude or anything but many kids your age had learned this." He said before regretting saying that.

"Well that's not very surprising to me since my family forced light magic or healing and all of that. I'm not too sure why but they did." Yeah as sad as it sounds it's true. Your probably wondering why I didn't run away sooner, well I thought it was normal.

Though after I found out about kingdoms and how people let you learn the magic you'd like to learn, I realized how fucked up it was. Ah-I shouldn't have sworn.
