Vaneeta knocked on Naina's door mid afternoon, when Naina was engrossed in her typewriter and writing pads. Since these days, Sameer's concentration was more in the outside world, or better say acting world, she had chose to start up with her sole adaption of writing for some days. She had found a better option to beat her day lonliness by engrossing herself in her writings or reading other books.

When the bell rang the second time, Naina stood up straightening herself and walked towards the gate. As soon as she opened the door, she smiled seeing Vaneeta and spoke hugging her in friendly manner, "Arey Vaneeta ji aap. Aaiye na andar."

Vaneeta entered with a smile on her face and both of them sat down on the sofa. When Naina came back with a galss of water from the kitchen, she sat near Vaneeta, "Toh kahiye Vaneeta ji, kaise aana hua?"

Vaneeta sipped the water from the glass and kept it aside, answering Naina, "Kyun? Hum aisehi tumse milne nahi aa sakte kya? Har baar kaam ho aisa zaruri toh nahi naa."

Naina thought she did a folly, "Nahi nahi Vaneeta ji, mera kehneka wo matlab nahi tha. Main toh bas..."

Vaneeta laughed and consoled her, "Arey shaant hojaao Naina. Hum toh mazak kar rahe the. Tumne toh seriously le liya."

"Kya Vaneeta ji. Dara deti hain aap bhi" Naina spoke in relief.

Vaneeta controlled her laughter and continued further, "Achha ye batao. Tum kya kar rahi thi? Kahin humne hi galat samay pe aake tumhe disturb toh nahi kar diya na? Kuchh zaruri kaam kar rahi thi kya?"

Naina instantly denied, "Nahi nahi bilkul nahi. Main toh bas aisehi kahaniyan likh rahi thi. Bore ho rahi thi toh socha yahi kar leti hun."

"Oho...Sameer ke bina har pal bore hi lagta hai tumhe toh." Vaneeta teased making her cheek rise pink hue in colour.

After a second when Naina was ready with an answer, she turned to her, "Aap toh jaanti hi hain ki Sameer aajkal scripts aur auditions ko leke kitna bhag daud kar raha hai. Toh bas main ghar pe bore ho rahi thi, aurrr...Suman bhi jaati hai na school toh isiliye." She completed adding the next line.

Vaneeta finished the remaining water and turned to Naina once again, "Achha thik hai. Ummeed hai ki humne tumhe disturb nahi kiya." Naina nodded in No and wanted to speak when Vaneeta continued instead, "Waise hum yahan pe ek kaam se hi aaye the. Tumhari ek chhoti si madat chahiye thi hume." And waited for a positive response from Naina.

Naina without a second thought was ready to provide with any kind of help, "Haan haan Vaneeta ji aap bataiye na. Mere bas mein hoga toh main zarur aapki help karungi."

Vaneeta had a level of contentment on her face when she continued further, "Naina ye kaam sirf tumhare hi bas mein hai. Humara matlab hai ki hum Sejal ke paas hi chale jaate. Par wahan gaye toh pata ki wo Tanvi ke saath gayi hai routine checkup ke liye. Toh yahan aagaye." Naina nodded in understanding and Vaneeta spoke again, "Hume tumhari help chahiye kyunki hume marwadi khana banana nahi aata." Vaneeta finally spoke the motive with a bit of embarrassment.

Naina smiled at her gesture and replied, "Arey Vaneeta ji, toh isme itna kya soch rahi thi aap. Main aapki help zarur karungi." Vaneeta, upon hearing a yes from Naina, hugged her tight.

Minutes later when Naina sat on Vaneeta's dining table cutting the onion pieces minutely, she had a round of questions ready for Vaneeta, "Waise aapne bulaya main aa bhi gayi. Par ye toh bataiye ye sab special aaj kis liye? Koi special aane waala hai ya Jatin ji ke liye ye sab ho raha hai? Hmmm?" She added a teasing tone to her words to which Vaneeta swayed off and spoke, "Arey nahi nahi Naina. Jatin ji toh hum jo bhi banate hain, unhe accha hi lagta hai. Wo toh bas unke koi khas mehman aane waale hain aaj. Aur unki ye farmaish hai ki unhe marwadi bhojan khana hai. Unki aur Jatin ji ki company ki koi deal saath mein hui hai. Toh deal final hone ki khushi mein unhone use khane pe bula liya. Aur jab humne unki farmaish suni toh kya kehne. Achhe se naraz bhi nahi ho sake. Nahi matlab tum hi batao, jab unko pata hai hume marwadi khana achhe se banana nahi aata, toh mehmaan ko soch samajh ke ghar bulana chahiye tha na. Magar nahi." Vaneeta explained her reluctance regarding the guest who was to arrive here.
