"Bolo Munaa, Chup kyun ho? Aarav ko kya hua hai? Rewa tumhare saath kyun nahi hai?? Aur toh aur ek mahina ho chuka hai Preeti ke pati ko gaye huye. Par wo Mumbai me hone ke baawajud ek baar Preeti ko dekhne tak nahi aayi? Tum har 3 4 din me aate ho, par sirf Aarav hota hai tumhare saath. Meri samajh mein nahi aata ki 4 mahine ke chhote se bachhe ko itni si der bhi ek maa apne se alag karke kaise reh paati hai?" Swati shouted questions on him non stop without even thinking that they were standing on the road.

Munna's level of patience broke. He held Swati by her elbow and dragged her to the side where they were not noticeable to many people. Seeing here and there again, he started, "dekho Swati, maine tumse pehle bhi kaha tha ki mere maamle mein taang mat adaao tum. Aur tum mujhse kya sawaal kar rahi ho? Main tumse sawal karna suru karun kya? Toh batao kahan hai tumhara pati? Pehle to ek minute bhi tumhare sasural wale tumhe kahin jaane nahi dete the. Naina Preeti ne apne bachhe ke naamkaran ke time itni minaate ki thi tumse par tum aa nahi payi kyunki un logon ne mana kiya tha. Main toh phir bhi donon bacchon se baad mein milke gaya tha aur Kamya bhi aayi thi Preeti ke bete ke naamkaran mein. Ab tum pichhle ek mahine se Mumbai mein ho, akeli. Tumhare sasural waalon tumhe ghar se itne dinon tak dur rehne diya? Yeh achanak parivartan hua kaise? Aur tumhare pati ka kabhi phone bhi nahi aata na tumhe? kyun? kahin tum donon ke bich koi darar to nahi aagayi? Bolo..." Munna shouted on her.

Swati was silently gaping at him, not able to answer his questions. She had not expected him for attacking her with his counter questions. He was changed. Wasn't he? He was behaving as if she was nothing to him.

She tried best not to show her inner turmoils and answered, "Mere pati ke saath mera rishta kaisa hai ya meri zindagi mein kya kya chal raha hai, Main kyun yahan itne dinon se hun...ye saare sawaal mujhse karne ka haq tum pehle hi kho chuke ho. Lagbhag 4 saal pehle hi jis din hum donon alag..." She closed her eyes for a second and continued, "toh behtar hoga ki tum bhul jaao main tumhe kisi bhi chiz kaa jawaab dungi." Swati answered him with her piercing gaze.

He did not listen anything but just 'ye saare sawaal karne ka haq tum pehle hi kho chuke ho'. Yes, he had lost his rights on her 4 years ago.

She again continued, "Main isiliye puchh rahi thi kyunki Aarav ki thodi si chinta hogayi thi bas. Itne chhote bache ko koi bimari hogayi to problem hojaati hai isiliye maine puchha tha. Tum kahoge to wo bhi nahi puchhungi. Aur haan, tumhare aur Rewa ke beech mein aane ka shaukh nahi hai mujhe. Maaf karna jo tumse maine sawaal kiye, bohot badi galti hogayi. Chalti hun." She completed in her mocking tone and held her hand-bag to her shoulder.

But when she was about to turn, Aarav shouted as if to call her back. She turned and her eyes softened due to the child's innocent gaze on her. He stayed smiling at her continuously. He was leaning from his father's arms to jump into the arms in front of him. Swati was about to take him but due to Munna, she withdrew her hands again.

Munna saw the entire thing. He smiled at his son and gave him slowly to Swati. He knew Aarav loved Swati's company, her warmth, her love. And he could do anything for his child's happiness. Swati took him in her arms and the little one threw his hands in joy showing his non teethy smile. Munna and Swati smiled to their fullest seeing the little one overjoyed. They forgot their argument which held a minute ago and were lost in the child's mesmerising face.

A man in his mid 30s from the opposite side of the road came to them. He said smiling, "bohot ache lagte ho aap teenon saath mein. Main aap donon ko kab se dekh raha hun wahan se." he said pointing on the small tea shop at the opposite side of the road.

He again continued, "aap donon kab se behes main lage huye the par iss chhote se bachhe ne phir aap donon ke chehre pe muskaan laadi. Bada hi pyaara beta hai aap donon ka."
