The car pulled up to the orphanage, and Patton put it in park. He turned to Virgil and said, "Okay kiddo, are the other two already here?"

"Yeah, Janus messaged me not too long ago," Virgil told him. Though Roman had only teleported to the orphanage not even a minute ago, not wanting to leave his side until before they turned down the street. Roman and Remus pretended to be humans again and had gone in to greet Delores and find Janus.

"Alright, I'll wait here then. Go get them and I'll drive you guys to the restaurant."

"Thanks Pops." Virgil climbed out of the car, walking up the steps to the orphanage again. It feels so long since he was here... He was excited to see the others again.

He knocked, feeling awkward doing so. Looking up to the top floor, he knew his old room was still there. It's only been a week, but somehow it felt longer. There had been so much going on, moving into a new home with a new family, the angel appearing, Buttercup...

Delores didn't take long to open the door, smiling wide when she saw him. "Virgil!" she greeted, pulling him into a hug as he laughed. He hugged her back before they pulled away. "I'm guessing you're here to steal away Janus?"

"Yeah, are the other two here? Roman and Remus, the ones I told you about?" Virgil asked, holding his arm awkwardly.

"Yup! They're inside now, Kayden seems to have taken a liking to Remus." Delores waved him inside, and he walked into the orphanage once again. She led him into the living room, where the demons and Janus were.

Roman was tense, but the moment he saw Virgil his shoulders relaxed. Remus was on the ground with Kayden, playing pat-a-cake. Of course, Kayden was giggling too much to sing the lyrics, and Remus kept changing them. Though any time he made a lyric remotely suggestive or violent, Janus would shoot him a glare and he would make it more kid friendly again.

When the green demon looked up to Virgil he sighed and said, "Finally! Took you long enough."

"We just got here too," Roman reminded him.

"Shh... Oh! Before I forget!" Remus pulled something out and handed it to Kayden. "That's for you!"

Roman frowned and tilted his head as Kayden gasped in surprise. "What is that thing?"

"A kazoo!" Kayden shouted in joy. "Thank you!"

Before Roman could ask anymore questions, the little boy blew into it and a loud noise came from it, startling the demon. "What the he- heck is that?!" he shouted, only not cursing at the last second.

"It's a kazoo!" Remus pulled out a green one of his own and played it along with Kayden. Janus sighed, rubbing his head, and Delores also wore a pained look. Virgil bit his bottom lip to keep from laughing, he was glad he wasn't living with them anymore.

"What a horrid instrument," Roman sighed.

"Whoever invented them is my hero!" Remus agreed.

"There are so many better instruments to play, like the guitar! The guitar is so much fun to play!"

"You can play the guitar?" Kayden asked, looking up at him in excitement. "That's so cool!"

Roman faltered in surprise, but smiled. "Indeed, the guitar is very fun to play."

"Can you bring your guitar next time?" The little boy was jumping up and down where he was sitting on the ground.

"Of course, little one," Roman purred with a smile.

"Well, let's not annoy the whole house for much longer," Virgil told them. "Pop's is waiting for us outside."

"Oh Vee! Do you like your new home?" Kayden asked.
