Chapter 85: No escape

Love makes a person do crazy things. Tulad nalang ng ginagawa ko ngayon. I’m doing crazy things just to get my angel back.

“What the hell Jeron?!” she shrieked. “Umalis ka nga dito! Nakakagulo ka!”

The last encounter we had was when I went to her house. I was confident nun na mahal pa rin talaga ako ni Angel. And that kiss happened, I knew she loves me just like before. But she gave me a slap on my face tapos tinawag pa niya yung guards at pinakaladkad ako, well not literally though, pero parang ganun na rin yun.

And the next day, I just learned from Jade na aalis si Angel papuntang Taiwan. I don’t know pero that time, nawala lahat ng inis at galit ko kay Jade. Nag sorry na rin siya sa akin. Now I know the truth. Dahil pala sa kaya things went this way. To be honest, nagalit ako sa kanya nung una, but as she explained everything, naintindihan ko na rin siya. I was at fault rin naman in the first place. I must say okay na kami ngayon ni Jade. And I even owe her this information, kaya naman nahabol ko pa si Angel.

“Nope. I’ll never let you run away from me Angel.” I said with full of confidence.

Nasa airport kami, sa loob ng isang eroplano to be exact. Nagdrama lang naman ako kanina sa mga crew para makapasok ako dito.

“Hijo, hija, kung ano man yang pinag-aawayan niyo, pwede ayusin niyo na? Madedelay yung flight eh!” singit nung isang matandang lalaki.

“Sorry po.” I said as I turned to him.

I smiled to myself when I thought of something. I looked back at Angel who was staring at me fiercely.

“Let me be a father to our child. Wag mo siyang ilayo sa akin.” Sabi ko.

Angel’s jaw dropped with my statement. I heard gasps and whispers from the passengers.

“What the hell Jeron?!” she yelled. “What the hell are you talking about?!”

“Please.” I immediately held her hand. “I’ll marry you, just please don’t leave me.”

“Miss! Papakasalan ka naman pala eh!” sabi nung isang passenger. “Wag ka nalang umalis.”

I heard a series of “oo nga” from the passengers. I smiled to myself dahil alam kong kakampi ko ang destiny.

“What?!” Angel mumbled in disbelief. “Hindi ako buntis!”

“Come on Angel, you don’t have to deny it. Alam ko na. Sinabi na sa akin ni Jade.” I replied.

“Arghh! Bwiset ka Teng!” she screamed as she pulled me out the plane. My plan just worked, and I swear, I’ll never get tired of doing crazy things like this, just to get her back.

It takes time to heal all wounds. Siguro nga dapat ko na yung tanggapin. It’s been days simula nung nilagnat ako, pero kahit magaling na ako, I still feel ill. Everytime I’d go online, I just can’t stop myself from looking at those anti-pages about me. Nakakadepress, pero ang weird ko kasi tinitingnan ko pa rin yun.

They don’t even know me yet, pero they have judge me just because of those rumors and article about me. Sabi nila, I’m a bitch daw, slut, etc. Pagod na akong tingnan yun, pero I’m still stuck staring at those.

I sighed as I closed my laptop. I looked at my friend who’s unconsiously staring blankly at nowhere.

“Ella.” I called.

She looked at me. “Bakit?”

Napansin ko lately na problemado siya masyado. The past few days, bihira nalang kam magkausap ni Ella. Hindi na nga kami nakakapakwentuhan tungkol sa lovelife niya. Because everytime I’d ask her about her and Von, iniiba niya agad yung topic. I guess something’s wrong.
