Love – such a foreign four letter word for me. I must admit I have dated a lot of girls before and I must admit, I’ve liked them. Pero never pa akong na in love – not until this time.
I like her. Yan yun sinabi ko dati. Oo I liked her, and I never thought it’ll grow to something more. I love her. I love everything about her. Indeed, she’s an angel sent from above.
“Kanina ka pa tahimik ah?” sabi ko sa kanya. Nasa likod kami ng pick up ko. We stopped by an open area para makapag-star gazing.
She looked at me then smiled. But it made me worry, cause it was a fake smile. “Wala may iniisip lang.”
“Napansin ko nga.” I said tapos inayos ang upo ko. “Mind telling me what’s bothering you?”
She shook her head. “Wala to. Look Jeron oh! May falling star!”
I looked up to see it. Meron nga. Madami. I looked back at her. She’s closing her eyes as if praying. She opened her eyes and looked at me. “Mag wish ka bilis!”
I smiled at her then I closed my eyes.
Sana makasama ko habang buhay tong babaeng katabi ko. I might not be a perfect man, but I’ll try my best to be perfect for her. She’s all I’m asking for.
I opened my eyes and caught her staring at me.
“Why are you looking at me?” i asked her.
She smiled at me mysteriously and looked up the sky. “If you have a chance to go back to your past,” she paused then looked at me. “May babaguhin ka ba?”
“If had that chance?” I looked at her intently. “I’ll never hurt the feelings of the girl I love.”
