I’ve done the biggest mistake in my life few years ago. Pero akala ko okay na ang lahat. Akala ko nakabawi na ako sa lahat ng kasalanan ko sa kanya nun, pero hindi pa pala. I was deceived. At ang masakit pa dun, ginawa lang niya lahat yun para paghigantihan ako. I thought she loves me too, but I was wrong.
“Something’s bothering you. Mind sharing it to me?” I looked up to see my sister, Almira.
Nasa kwarto ako ngayon, holding my phone. I’ve been deleting photos of me and Angel, and I’ve been staring at the last photo we have. I really do not know if I really want do delete this photo, but I just want to forget everything.
“Nothing.” I lied as I hid my phone at my back.
Umupo naman siya sa tabi ko as she looked at me intently. “Liar.”
“Okay okay. You got me there.” I raised my hands in defeat.
“So. Tell me.” She started. “What happened?”
I sighed. “She lied to me.”
“Angel?” she asked. I just nodded.
“How? I mean, I don’t get it. Di ba okay na kayo?” she asked.
“That’s what we thought.” I snapped. “But we’re definitely wrong.”
“She planned everything to get even.” I added. “She called it quits.”
“I thought you love her?” she asked out of nowhere. I looked at her intently. Hindi ko alam kung ano ang point niya para tanungin ako nun.
“Dahil lang nalaman mong she planned to get even with you, ibig sabihin nun titigilan mo na siya?” she continued. “Akala ko ba mahal mo siya? Come on dude, quits na nga kayo di ba?”
“What do you want me to do then?” I asked.
“Ano sa tingin mo?” she asked back.
I just don’t really get her point. “I don’t know dichi. And I am not in the mood to think.”
“Come on! Mahal mo siya! Just go get her!” she exclaimed.
