Ghost train AU backstory: I guess you could classify it as a soulbond au?

Emmet and Ingo died in an accident a few years back and were haunting the gear station... Well, at least one of them was, and you being a skeptic decided to spend the night in the station, to catch this so called ghost which you were sure was just some Pokémon or a homeless person looking for a place to sleep.

Turns there truly was a ghost, two actually, one was one of the subway bosses and the other was a malicious entity that had been hunting you, which the ghostly conductor had been trying to protect you from the malicious ghost, which turned out some jacked up Gengar that had fused with it's vengeful trainer's soul, Anyway the malicious Gengar caught up to you while trying to escape.

You tried to fight it off with your Reuniclus and Golett, but the Gengar used hypnosis on you sending you to sleep, seeing no other choice Ingo/Emmet's ghost possesses your body and started barking commands at your Pokémon, he wins against Gengar freeing it from it's trainer grasp allowing them to move on to the afterlife. later you woke up on a bench in the gear station's lobby, and thought it was all weird dream and that you had fallen asleep in the middle of your investigation.

Dejected you go home and collapse on you couch to pout, only feel a chill go down your spine as the feeling of being watched suddenly overcame your senses, you sat up looked over your shoulder and saw one of the deceased Trevithick Twin's staring at you sheepishly, The two of you stared at each other awkwardly before he uttered "Please don't scream..." you didn't, you just fainted, somehow his spirit which until now had been exclusively tethered to Gear station had became bonded to you, and the ghostly conductor thinks you can help him find his brother.

Emmet: You were taking a nap when Emmet came through the wall bored, he looked around your livingroom and saw you passed out on the couch, he went over and laid down (hovered) on his side next to you and watched you sleep for a couple minutes, on instinct he went to move some hair from your face, but remembered his hand would just go through your head, a rare frown formed on his face as he recalled how it felt to hold hands or hug people, but quickly shook those dreary thoughts away, looking down at your laptop Emmet saw you were watching scare pranks his smile returned as the ghostly conductor got an idea...

You woke up a few minutes later and walked over to the bathroom to do your business and as soon as you were done and leaving the bathroom, Emmet made his move, you turned saw Emmet walk by and went ask him what time it was, and if anyone stopped by while you were sleeping? but when you went into livingroom Emmet wasn't there... "Emmet?" you called out then heard creaking behind you the temperature began to drop as you turned around and saw the hallway lights were flickering.

"Emmet, knock it off." you warned glaring at nothing as the tv started acting up. "Seriously, this ain't funny!" you hissed trying to figure out where spectral conductor was hiding, but before you say anything else Emmet suddenly manifested behind you blew cold air on your neck. You let out a startled yelp spun around and slap him on the face. "OW!" Emmet hissed then got a weird look on his face. "...ow????"he repeated confused then looked at you utterly baffled.

"You hit me..."

"Well what did you expect, scaring me like that?!"

"No...you. hit. me."

"And?"

It hadn't occurred to you yet, as your adrenaline was pumping Emmet was having a bit of a sensory overload having gone decades with out feeling another persons touch, the man was severely touched starved! "Touch me again..." he begged desperately causing you to recoil. "w-Wha-..." you sputtered as Emmet was in you face on instinct you went to shove him away, it was like slow motion as your brain reminded you.

Emmet's a ghost your going to fall right through him and faceplant into the floor, you closed your eyes expecting it!... but to your shock your hands hit something tepid and solid??? You opened your eyes and saw you hands were laying flat against Emmet's chest, then it clicked for you why Emmet was suddenly freaking out so much, needles to say Emmet was glued to your body all evening.

Ingo: You were doing a bit of spring cleaning and rearranging while Ingo help out though unable to physically interact with the living he was able to interact with inanimate objects and grabbed things that you weren't able to reach, while you were cleaning the kitchen Ingo was busy dusting around the livingroom, cleaning the hard to reach spots, while he was finishing up Ingo noticed you'd been pretty quiet which was concerning...

He peeked into the kitchen and nearly had a heart-attack! *is that possible when you a ghost?* you were on your counter standing on your toes trying to grab a jar off the top of the cabinets, before Ingo could even tell you to get down from there, the inevitable happened!

You slipped and started falling back towards the kitchen floor, in seconds Ingo was there, It was like slow motion one second you were falling, very sure you closed your eyes so sure you were gonna crack your head open or break your neck due to your own stupidity!

Next thing you knew your brushed with gravity was suddenly stopped, by someone catching you? after the shock of you nearly dying wore off, you were now freaked out at the prospect that someone was in your house! your heart hammered in your chest as you opened your eyes and nervously looked over your shoulder to see who was holding you? And were completely blindsided when you saw an equally stunned Ingo just starring at you he then slowly looked back up at the counter then back at you sitting in his lap arms around you...

He briefly glanced around in disbelief for your dead body as he couldn't believe he was touching you... a living person! that shock wore off feeling you warm hand touched his cheek. "Holy crap.." you muttered stunned. "Y/n..." Ingo murmured thinking he was going say something sweet you hummed curiously. "What were you thinking climbing up on the counter like that?!" you recoiled as Ingo who still carrying you got up from the floor, still lecturing you as he carried you to couch sat down with you in his lap still lecturing you... He didn't let go of you all day.
