{Just a little au I'm playing around with.]
{The powers just showed up randomly when the twins were five, Turns out it runs in their family, but it skipped over their mom, they learned more from a distant great uncle named Ivar and his deceased twin sister Edith.]
Emmet
*Can see bad things before they happen.
*Has some control over his ability, like he can decide if he wants to see whatever tragedy destiny has cooked up for some poor shmuck or even Emmet himself.
*Has learn to put up a temporary mental block to keep premonitions at bay for a while.
*Despises his ability, as it's a constant crappy reminder, that life's a bitch and people suck.
*Gets stress headaches or nose bleeds sometimes.
*When he was child Emmet had little to no control over what visions he saw and would have night terrors over it... Actually, he still has night terrors from time to time, but has since accepted them as a part of him.
*Got in trouble a lot as child, cos he would tell random people their spouses were cheating on them. Or tell them how they were going to die.
*He was envious of Ingo's visions growing up, which caused a bit of tension between the twins, but has since gotten over it after meeting a relative with similar powers.
*Lost his ability briefly while going through puberty, he couldn't see visions anymore. But Emmet did somehow develop the ability to feel peoples emotions... but to his dismay the visions returned when he turned 19.
*Knew Ingo was going to go missing one day, but didn't know how he was going to go missing, the fear and guilt drives Emmet a little nuts! Cos what was the point of having these visions if he couldn't save his own brother?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Ingo
*Can see good things before they happen.
*Also has a good handle on how and when the visions occur, though he leaves his mental guard down and doesn't keep it up as much as Emmet does, Which Ingo finds a bit unsettling.
*Admits he doesn't like his ability, as it tends to take all the wonder and excitement out of life.
*Also suffers headaches or nose bleeds sometimes.
*Ingo's visions would also get him in trouble as a child as he would tell other kids what their parents are getting them for their birthdays, or ruin birth announcements or wedding proposals.
*He also had trouble keeping his visions under control as a child, But he wishes he could've switched powers with Emmet when he saw just how much his little brother struggled when they were kids, But after meeting their great uncle, Ingo's come to accept his abilities as a part of his life.
*He can see bad things too...Sort of? I.E. Some dude is having an affair, while his wife is away! Technically their classified as good...For the jackass that's cheating, but from an outsiders point of view and moral stand point? It's pretty shitty.
*Also briefly loses his ability while going through puberty. However, Ingo developed the ability to read minds for a bit, before his visions returned when he and Emmet turned 19.
*Loses his ability again when he got yeeted in to Hisui, but slowly regains it over time. The first vision Ingo gets is of his family welcoming him home.
