The Last Goodbye To Bai

A lone figure could be seen walking into the cemetery and making its way to one of the many graves there. The figure looked at a grave for some time before they sat in front of the grave and opened their mouth to reminisce about the past, one that they would never get back.

Mikey had never been the easiest kid to make friends despite his carefree and easy going way of being so when Baji Keisuke joined his school and took classes in the Sano dojo he never expected for them to become friends.

"Not bad" murmured Mikey one evening after all the kids were done with the classes with only him and Baji staying to help clean the dojo(Baji because his mother would be late to pick him up and Mikey because he always helped clean it since his grandpa forced him to do that)

"Ah?" growled Baji glaring at Mikey

"Your fighting stance" hummed Mikey "You should try to keep your legs a bit more closer unless you want someone to take you down easily by breaking your balance" he added and Baji looked at him surprised

"...Thanks" murmured Baji before both went back to cleaning

No more words were said that day between both but the following days they got closer and in no time they had become best friends, almost brothers.

"Why did you guys do this?" asked Shinichiro with a raised eyebrow looking at his brother and his friend

"He deserved it" said Baji not looking at Shinichiro who sighed

"I'm not saying that he did or didn't" started Shinichiro "I'm just asking what the man did for both of you to beat him up like that? You were lucky the police couldn't believe that two ten years old beat up a man his size" Shinichiro looked at them and they looked at each other before Mikey looked at his brother

"He made some comments about Emma" mumbled Mikey and Shinichiro looked confused at him "The man said she was very pretty and would be a lovely wife"

"That isn't so bad" said Shinichiro confused

"He also talked about her body and how how good in bed she would be if someone trained her from now on" glared Baji at the floor and Shinichiro froze because that was bad and disgusting

"Okay" said Shinichiro "How about we take Emma to buy a new stuffed animal and then eat ice cream as a gift for being amazing brothers to Emma?" asked Shinichiro smiling but planning to later inform his grandfather of what happened

"REALLY?!" shouted both boy and Shinichiro nodded his head while laughing at the twin looks of happiness in the two boys faces

"Let's go tell Emma, Mikey!" said Baji to his best friend who nodded his head in agreement

"Let's go, Ed!" said Mikey before both disappeared from Shinichiro's view

"You're lucky you are cute" muttered Baji even if he knew Mikey wouldn't hear him since he was a deep sleeper

It wasn't the first time Baji saw Mikey just falling asleep after eating or being a brat but the other times had always been to Shinichiro so Baji was a bit surprised Mikey suddenly acted like this to him but then again it gave a warm feeling to Baji's heart especially when he remembered that once Mikey told me he only fell asleep easily when he was around someone he trusted completely.
