Jungkook did not feel good about what he had heard through his headphones. He did not think twice and pressed the record button to show it to Namjoon and Seokjin later.

"Are you sure you don't want to help me kill the girl?" Han Si Woo once again asked the police officer. The old man's voice was laced with fury.

"She's innocent! I will never agree to kill innocent people!" Taehyung was firm with his stance.

"Why are you afraid to do so?" The evil old man questioned the officer.

"I'm not afraid of anything or anyone, not even you! I'm a cop. My job is to arrest criminals like you. I aim to protect people, not kill innocent ones!" Jungkook could infer that Taehyung was not afraid of the mafia leader at all.

"I'm impressed. You are such a loyal government servant. But with your financial problems right now, do you think it is worth to still standing such a belief?"

"Han Sajangnim, I'm just so curious. Why do you want to kill your own daughter, your own blood? What is your agenda behind all this?" Instead of answering the question, he hit the man with his inquiry.

"You should not be concerned about her. The clock is ticking, Geomsagwan! You better give me the answer before I change my mind."

Knowing his boss was already asleep, the youngest decided to inform the lawyer about this critical matter. With his laptop in hand, the maknae made his way through the hallway, hoping Seokjin was still awake.

"Jin hyung..." he knocked at the door, "Are you still up? We need to talk. It is urgent!"

The door swung open just a few seconds later, revealing Seokjin in his aqua blue pajama.

"What's wrong, Kook?" He instantly notices the worry on the youngest's face.

"I have something to show you," Jungkook carried his laptop into the room, not waiting for the elder to ask him to come in. He turned the computer on and played the recorded audio from earlier.

A few minutes followed, the lawyer's listening to the record. His face contorted with concerns as his mind tried to figure out how to help Taehyung while striving to protect Aera from her evil father.

"Taehyung is in danger, hyung. What we should do?" The youngest asked for suggestions.

"Give me time to think about it. Namjoon has already ordered our men to watch him."

"But we are running out of time. What if Han Si Woo kills him before we can make a move? You know that evil man is unpredictable."

"Tae is a cop, and killing a police officer is a crime Han Si Woo will not commit recklessly. And do you believe Namjoon will ever let him live if he really kills Tae? Until today, our leader is still pursuing his wish to kill Han Si Woo even if Miss Han is his girlfriend. And, we should not forget that Miss Han's life is in danger as well. We must be cautious with our next moves," The lawyer still could not forget what had happened to the couple some time ago. They could have lost their leader if they had not made a fast move back then.

"I'm aware of that hyung. Yet, by now, Miss Han has become stronger than ever before. After everything she has learned from Yoongi hyung and me, I'm sure she can protect herself from any harm."

"We cannot predict what Han Si Woo has planned for her. We should keep our eyes on her too. Anything can happen," the lawyer explained to the youngest, who nodded at his hyung.

"I've got it, hyung. I hope the affray between the two leaders will come to an end, so our boss can finally live happy with Miss Han."

"Yes, I am hoping for that to happen too. Namjoon deserves to be happy after what he had been through."
