Taehyung noticed the ruthless old man's intense gaze on his cousin and his most wanted daughter.
"What does all of this mean, Kang Bujang?!" Han Si Woo hissed at the manager, his gaze fixed on the latter.
"Joesonghamnida Sajangnim, but I didn't mean anything. I just want to sit down and talk business with great businessmen like you and Kim Sajangnim," the manager informed the older mafia leader of his intention to hold this meeting. However, the latter was aware of the rivalry between them. The meeting was meticulously planned to uncover the secret of their mutual hatred.
"Do you really believe that I will sit down with this motherfucker?!" Han Si Woo yelled at the manager, making Aera flinch. His loud, threatening voice reverberated throughout the empty space. As Namjoon's girlfriend's palm sweated into his, he was alarmed as fear crept throughout her body. He directed Aera towards Taehyung and gestured for the latter to keep her safe while he handled the ruthless leader.
"Now, now, calm down. Han Sajangnim, you obviously don't know how to control your temper," Namjoon remarked, mocking the evil old man as his lips slowly stretched into a smirk.
Han Si Woo stared at the young mafia leader in disbelief. He looked surprisingly calm and had no fear of him. Contrary to when the latter was very fragile and vulnerable on the day of his father's funeral.
"You fucking shit! I should've killed you before!" His voice was laced with rage. When Namjoon stared straight at him, he saw disgust and a monstrous amount of hatred. But none of that mattered now, as he had mentally prepared himself to face this evil monster.
"But why didn't you do it when you had the chance?" Namjoon responded calmly. He then sat in front of his rival, his arms crossed on his chest.
"You prick!" the elder clan leader roared. His wrath built within him like a deep current of water. It gushed out faster than magma, his skin scorched, and he became hotter and hotter until he felt suffocated. Today was the first time in his entire life that he regretted not bringing a gun or bodyguards with him.
"Why do you not calm the fuck down and sit with me, Han Sajangnim? Kang Bujang will be offended by your rudeness." Namjoon poured tea into cups and handed one to Han Si Woo. He felt humiliated that he karate-chopped the cup out of Namjoon's hand.
"Appa!" Aera yelled at her so-called father but didn't move an inch from Taehyung's side.
"Shut up!" Han Si Woo yelled as his head snapped up. He felt like he had just woken up from his daydream when he realized his daughter was standing close to Taehyung. He shot her a vicious glare before looking back at the police officer.
"Kim Geomsagwan! Give my daughter back to me! You already know we have a deal!" The leader sneered at the officer and looked at his daughter as if she was his prey. Aera took a step back from the cop, but Taehyung nodded to reassure her that she was safe with him.
