Flashback

Jungkook and Jimin were surprised to discover most of their weapon had gone missing during their routine check in the basement.

"Someone stole our weapons!" Jimin quickly assumed he was terrified. Jungkook peered around, but there was no evidence of intruders.

"I don't think so."Jungkook objected, claiming, "This place was highly secured. Nobody could enter this area unless he had access." Jungkook was aware of what was happening.

"But, where have all our weapons gone?"

"Let's find the answer to your question."

Jungkook checked on the CCTV in their house and they discovered that Namjoon had entered the basement and taken all the weapons.

"What do you think he's doing with all the guns?"Jimin asked.

"Revenge. Let me see what we got here."

Jungkook did his best to hack into the traffic system to track where Namjoon was heading, and as he expected their leader went to Ha Si Woo's mansion before he saw Yoongi come later.

"Oh, it was Yoongi hyung," Jimin said as he pointed at the screen.

"Yes. They ambushed the house. We need to tell Seokjin hyung about this."

"And don't forget to inform Tae, maybe he can help."

Meanwhile, Jae Chul, accompanied by Kang Bujang, was waiting in his car near the mansion. He smirked, completely aware of the events taking place inside the house.

"Who do you think will die first? Han Si Woo or Kim Namjoon?" Jae-Chul asked the manager with a smirk on his face.

"I don't think Kim Namjoon will survive. Han Si Woo has devoted men to protect him." Kang Bujang exclaimed.

"Don't forget Namjoon has Min Yoongi, and he's a professional assassin." The chairman replied.

"What if they both died, Hwejangnim?" The manager was intrigued, which made the young chairman smile.

"If this happens, it will be a jackpot for me." He said, smiling widely.

End of flashback

The testament reading had been rescheduled after Han Si Woo's funeral. Big Circle's shareholders could not believe that the CEO was the mastermind behind all the rampant crimes and syndicates in their country.

"But, what are they doing here?" one of the shareholders asked when he saw Seokjin sitting with them in the meeting room.

"I've invited Kim Byeonhosanim on behalf of Miss Han."

"Why are you representing her? She doesn't own any shares in this company." The older man was intrigued.

Yet to their surprise, Kang Bujang arrived minutes later, bringing a document with him. All shareholders were confused about another unknown man joining them for the testament reading.

"Who are you? What are you doing here?" The second shareholder asked in his annoyed tone.

"Annyeonghaseyo, my name is Kang Mal Chin. My boss is the late Han Sajangnim's business partner. I was told to come here for a testament reading. My boss wanted me to hand this document to Choi Byeonhosanim for clarification," Kang Bujang explained before handing the file to the attorney.

In the intense atmosphere, the shareholders yielded to critics and demanded a change in the ownership of the profits.

"How can this happen? We worked hard to get into this position, but how can he give everything to someone we haven't met before?" the man protested.

"Do you think we will believe all this? The document might be fake," another man said, disputing the document's validity.

"We know that Han Si Woo's signature is difficult to replicate. Hence, he was the only person who kept our official company stamp." The attorney reminded the guests.

"How about his daughter's property? They are both dead and no one will handle it. So it should be divided among us."

"I'm sorry. The will was changed before Miss Han passed away," said Choi Byeonhosanim, causing the shareholders to become more anxious.

"What do you mean?"

"That is why I invited Kim Byeonhosanim here. He will explain everything." Choi Byeonhosanim gestured for the senior attorney to stand up beside him.

" Annyeonghasimika, my name is Kim Seokjin and I work for Kim Namjoon Sajangnim. I was the official witness in Miss Han's presence of the creation of a second will to be executed only in the event of her death by murder."

"What do you mean by murder? Didn't she die because of the car accident?"

"No, that is not true. The car crash happened because she was kidnapped. And we believe Han Si Woo sent the kidnapper."

"What?! Why did he want to kill his daughter? " asked one of the shareholders who was shocked by the report.

"Are you trying to make up a story so your boss can seize the property?" Other shareholders echoed his suspicion.

"For your information, the total gross amount of property she acquired from her late mother, Mrs. Han Myung Hee, was billions of dollars, including a few properties from overseas. Han Si Woo could only inherit the property if she died from an illness. Han Si Woo had intended to murder Han Aera. I have evidence of the incident and have filed a police report."

He could hear loud sighs and curses from the men before him. No one wants to lose money, especially when they have invested a lot and worked hard to gain wealth.

"So, does it mean we will not receive anything?"

"Your basic share and compensation will be credited to your account. I'm sorry, but this is the only thing I can do." Choi Byeonhosanim stated and bowed to the shareholders as an apology.

Namjoon woke up with a hiss, feeling a sharp pain in his stomach. He opened his eyes slowly to find himself lying on the bed in a bright room. He could hear the non-stop sound of beeping as he glanced to his left side to see a few medical machines.

"Namjoon," Seokjin called out for his name. He looked to his right side and saw his loyal attorney and cousin standing beside the bed.

"Why am I still alive?" he mumbled, licking his dry lip.

"Hyung, don't say like that. I am so worried about you." Taehyung looked concerned.

"Bring me out of here," he said, trying to get up from his bed but wincing in pain because of the fresh wound on his stomach.

"Namjoon, don't move. You must rest."

"No! I don't want to be here! Get me out of here and bring me to Aera!" He insisted, pushing Seokjin away from him.

"Don't be a pigheaded. Your wound will be bleeding again, hyung."

"I don't care! I want to see her now!" he pulled the drip wire from his arm and screamed in pain. Seokjin shook his head, telling Taehyung not to say anything as he did not want to argue or make him angrier and out of control.

As he walked closer to the grave, his knees became weaker, and his heart clenched tightly when he saw the name engraved on the tombstone. He still could not believe that Aera had died and left him alone in this cruel world. The guilt was unbearable as he failed to protect her. Namjoon fell to his knees, moaning like a wounded fox and clenching a handful of grass with his quivering fist.

"I'm so sorry, baby. I'm sorry I failed to protect you."

A violent sob coursed through his body, and he cried as loud as he wanted. Seokjin knelt beside the leader, and there was nothing he could do but pat Namjoon's back, letting the leader let out the agony he had been holding inside his heart.
