Laura pov:

I was watching Maya and Massimo when my little one suddenly started crying.

I look at Massimo, not understanding what happened, but it's as if Massimo sees through me. All his attention was on Maya.

To my desperation the dialogue between them was in Italian, and I didn't understand anything.

I look worriedly at Domenico and Olga.

Domenico understands my anxiety, and translated the conversation between them two.

I was completely upset, I didn't know how to react. After a few seconds I got even closer to them.

Stroking my little one on her back and trying to look into Massimo's eyes, but he was looking away.

Laura: Maya, baby, come to Mommy , we have to go now, but I promise we'll be back.

Maya hugs Massimo even harder, and she tells me without looking into my eyes.

Maya: I don't want to, I don't want to go home! I want to stay here, at least a little please, please!

Laura pov:

My repeated attempts to take Maya out of Massimo's arms resulted in nothing more than tears streaming down Maya's face.

Massimo whispered phrases to her in Italian trying to calm her down, but without any result.
At one moment Domenico and Olga approaches us.

Domenico: Maya, angel , can you come with Uncle Domenico a little?

Maya: (rispondendo in italiano) E tu, vuoi che me vada, vero?

Maya: (answering in Italian) And you, want me to leave, don't you?

Domenico: Principessa, siamo sempre stati migliori amici, vero?

Domenico: Princess, we've always been best friends, haven't we?

Maya: Esatto

Maya: That's right

Domenico: Allora per favore fidati di me! Vieni a parlare un po'?

Domenico: Then please trust me! Are you coming to talk a little?

Maya: Se vengo con te, Don non sta per partire, vero?

Qualcuno coraggioso, che fa di tutto per proteggere coloro che ama.

E, soprattutto, un Don mantiene sempre le sue promesse.

Someone brave, who does everything to protect those he loves.

And most importantly, a Don always keeps his promises.
