The little ones agreed to go to the table, not before making Massimo promise them that as soon as he finished his work they would play again.

Massimo takes the little ones in his arms and they go to the table.

Olga & Domenico: Good morning princess, good morning Massimo!

Massimo: Good morning!

Little Maya gets out of Massimo's arms and greets her aunt and uncle, who hug her and kiss her on the forehead.

Matteo and Maya (in unison) looking at Massimo: Can we sit next to you?

Massimo: ( smiling ) Of course!

The little ones sat excitedly on either side of Massimo.

Olga: I wonder if you know how to say NO?

Massimo: Of course!

Massimo: Ask me for something and I will gladly refuse you!

Olga: I see that you are in an extremely good mood this morning.

Olga: I meant if you know that you can refuse these two  spoiled little ones when they ask you for something?!

Massimo answered Olga while preparing the pancakes for the little ones, cutting them into smaller pieces so that they could eat them more easily.

Massimo: You already know the answer to this question.

Massimo: So I don't understand why you bother to ask me!

Obviously, I cannot and will never refuse them anything, as long as what they ask of me does not endanger them.

Olga wanted to retort Massimo, but Domenico intervened, distracting them before a dispute broke out.

Domenico: Can you sit at the same table for once without teasing each other?

Massimo & Olga :( in unison) No!

Domenico: (sighs) I have no chance of getting along with you two.

Domenico: I need Laura's help! Where is she? Why didn't she come down with you?

Massimo: Laura is still sleeping! I went down to breakfast because a little princess got hungry.

Massimo: And we decided to let mommy sleep. She looked tired! Isn't it, princess?

Maya nod approvingly!

Olga: (smiling) Do I suppose to understand that it was a long night?!

Massimo & Domenico : (in unison) Olgaaa!

Massimo: You really can't stop yourself from saying such things even when the kids are next to us?

Olga: (making a funny face) But what did I say?

Olga: You are the one thinking about inappropriate things!

Olga: When I said it must have been a long night, I meant that you and Laura read a lot of bedtime stories to the princess to get her sleep.

Massimo refrained from giving Olga a reply for the sake of the little ones.

Breakfast went quietly.

But as soon as Massimo finished eating, he looked at his watch.

It was already late 10 AM.

He had to go take care of the things he had to deal with.

Massimo: Domenico are you done?

Domenico: Yes

Domenico: We can leave when you're ready!

Massimo: Ok then let's go!

Domenico: Sure!

Domenico: There are a few things I couldn't fix in your absence, so get ready we're going to have a long day.

Domenico kisses Olga and gives the little ones a hug and a kiss before leaving.

Massimo also says goodbye to Olga and hugs the little ones.

Massimo: (to Matteo and Maya) Be nice don't upset mommy and auntie too much.

Massimo: If you're  good and listening them, I promise I'll bring a gift for you both tonight.

Matteo and Maya: (in unison) We promise!
