In a short time, Domenico returns with the keys.
He approaches the door, wanting to open it, but stops at the last moment.

He turns his gaze towards Laura and Olga, as if wanting to communicate something to them.

Initially Laura and Olga do not understand Domenico's gesture, but as soon as he makes a discreet gesture with his hand towards little Maya, they realize what Domenico wanted to convey to them.

Laura looks at Olga for a few seconds, then takes a deep breath.

Laura: My love, can you please come to mommy's for a bit?

Maya: (approaching Laura) What happened?

Laura:Baby, I'd like you to wait for us outside!  I promise you that as soon as we find out what happened Massimo will come to you!

Maya: (looking into her mother's eyes) Who entered into the office?

Laura: Me, uncle, aunt and a few bodyguards?

Maya: ( Giving everyone a cold look) Why do you keep treating me like a stupid child?

I don't even think about staying out!  Massimo is my friend! 

He helped me today when I was sad and crying.  Now it's my turn to help him!

Laura: (raising her voice) Maya, please!  Do not complicate the situation!

Maya: Are we starting again, the same story?  I do not complicate anything! 

You are the ones who make everything complicated because you are hiding things from me.

Look at you, mommy, your palms are sweaty, you can barely control your tears and your voice is shaking.

What happens ?  You act as if you and Massimo are extremely close and the idea that something bad could happen to him scares you!

Can someone explain to me what is happening here?

Maya's words leave everyone speechless!
They looked at each other not knowing how to react.

Laura looks at Olga and Domenico with tears in her eyes.  She couldn't find the words. 

She knew her child, she knew that Maya is a child who understands much more than other children her age, but she did not expect this.

Maya, without seeming too affected by the adults' reactions, addresses  to Domenico:

Maya: Uncle, please, open the door once we don't have time for games!

If there is any problem, I can open it for you.

Still shocked by what he heard a few seconds ago, Domenico put the key in the door, not before making a discreet sign to two of the bodyguards who were there.

At Domenico's signal, they positioned themselves in front of the little girl, blocking her field of vision.

As soon as the office door is opened, Domenico enters into the room with Franco.

Maya: (addressing the 2 bodyguards who were in front of her) Che  succede ?

Maya: Hey, what's going on?

Maya: Fatti da parte ora! 

Maya: Step aside now!

The little girl pushed them with all her power , but they didn't budge.

Maya: (urlando) Sei sordo o cosa?  Non capisci più l'italiano?  Vuoi che ti parli in Cinese?

Maya: (screaming) Are you deaf or what?  Can't understand Italian anymore?  Do you want me to speak to you in Chinese?

Maya: Vi avevo detto di farti da parte!  Non vedo niente!

Maya: I told you to step aside!  I do not see anything!

Maya: Devo andare da Massimo!

Maya: I have to get to Massimo!

As soon as Domenico and Franco entered the office, Laura and Olga joined them.
