"Welcome to fill my shoes! You're joining us live with a new episode and our guest today is the one and only Jagged Stone!" Alec starts the show as Jagged appears on the screen. Earlier that week Penny had called Marinette to ask if they could shoot a reality tv show at her parent's bakery to premiere his next album. It took a while for her parents to be convinced but they finally caved in and said yes so we told everyone in school to tune in this weekend.
"Today he'll be filling the shoes of...A baker! So here's a big thanks to Tom and Sabine Dupian-Cheng for having us here in their bakery, the best in Paris I might add," They both walk in front of the camera and say they're helloes before Sabine walks over with a tray of croissants for the crew. "I'm still not sure this was such a good idea to let them film the show here sweetie," Sabine voices her worry to Marinette who reassures her it was. "Of course it was Mom. Jagged asked specifically to come here. Do you realize how good this is gonna be for business? You'll become instant celebrities." "Well for a celebrity your dad looks pretty nervous," I point out, crossing my arms and smirking as we watch Tom break into a nervous sweat while trying to show Jagged how to knead the dough properly.
My attention turns to Penny who was telling Fang to calm down and nervously clicking on her pen. "Are you ok Penny?" I ask as I approach and she nods, stating, "Yes, yes. It's just that this show was my idea and Jagged is trusting me so I hope everything goes well today," She clicks her pen some more as we watch Jagged pull out his hand-made bread guitar and started singing about the ingredients to bake. Penny laughs at his antics, making me smile. "So Miss. Penny, what's it like working with a star like Jagged? He seems so cool," Sabine asks as her and Mari approach.
"Oh yes, he's wonderful..." Penny slightly swoons, her cheeks turning pink as she stares at said man fondly, only making my smile grow wider. "I mean yeah he's uh...Awesome," She corrects herself once she noticed the three of us smiling at her. "Yo Marinette, (y/n)! My favorite ladies come rock out with us," Jagged suddenly calls to us and the camera pans at us. We wave at the camera as we walk over to Jagged and Tom. "It's so cool that we get to spend the day together. Alec these two are very talented. Marinette did the artwork for my Eiffel tower shades and my last album cover and (y/n) over here wrote one of the songs that we later both produced and they're both only in high school."
Jagged brags about, pulling us in for a side hug. "Impressive this is a household filled with artists with a designer, musician, and two bakers! By the way, what are we gonna be making today Tom?" "We can make some chocolate croissants, can you grab a bag of flour please Marinette?" Mari reaches down behind her and one of the peels hanging on one of the hangers falls. Quickly she goes to grab it, a bag of flour falling on top of it which spills all over Jagged when she lifted it up.
"Hey look, I look like a ghost! Rockin' boo-hoo!" He laughs as flour goes everywhere. "Making pastries is obviously no piece of cake. Stay tuned, we'll be right back after this commercial break," Alec signs off while Jagged was still pretending to be a ghost. Mari apologizes for the mess as Penny comes over and starts wiping away the flour with a napkin. "Is there a restroom we could use please?" "Yeah upstairs," Penny and Jagged head upstairs to clean him up while we cleaned up the kitchen floor.
Five minutes later we hear "Alec, we're back on in thirty seconds!" Alec looks around to see Jagged still wasn't back. "Where's Jagged?" "In the restroom upstairs." "Thank you. Follow me, we'll improvise," Alec and the crew head upstairs. The tv we had on shows the show and my attention turns to the screen causing my eyes to widen when I saw Jagged in Marinette's and I's room. Where the main focus was all the Adrien photos Mari had up. Oh no...If they kept poking around who knows what else they might expose to everyone. "Uh...Marinette?" I call to her and point at the screen. When she sees what's going she starts dragging me upstairs repeating the word no.
"Keep calm Marinette, it's not a big deal," Tikki tries to calm Mari. "Of course it is! This is a major disaster. I told everyone in school to watch today's show, including Adrien and he's gonna see all those photos and figure out I'm in love with him!" Mari exclaims. "But isn't that what you wanted?" Flaake asks and I point "No one ever wants to be found out like this besides they don't have permission to shoot up there and could expose worse things about us like we're both you know who," I explain before we both burst inside asking what they thought they were doing in here. "I'm sorry Marinette, (y/n). I couldn't find the bathroom before Jagged came barging up," Penny explains while Jagged points at a large Jagged Stone poster on the wall. "Hey you two you want me to sign that giant poster of me?"
"No! I just need everyone to leave and you! Stop filming!" Mari says before we turn to Penny and I tell her "You guys don't have permission to film up here please help get them out now," She nods and starts ushering everyone out, her foot getting caught in a wire taking the show off the air. "Penny you just cut us off the air!" The camera man complains and she picks up the cord. Soon Penny was met with all sorts of demands to get everyone out of the room, to hand over the cord, to check if the flour was organic and being yelled at for there not being a show. "That's enough! All of you back downstairs now!" She shoves everyone downstairs, leaving Mari and I alone in our room where she collapses in my arms out of embarrassment.
