Queen Wasp: Part 2

"It's...It's ridiculous! Utterly ridiculous! I've never been to New York with you and you're going to take Marinette Dupain-Cheng?!" Chloé yells out in utter disbelief and Audrey nods. "I'm taking her because she's exceptional Claudette- Chloé," I wince at the fact that she couldn't even remember her own daughter's name which didn't help Chloé feel better as tears started to prick her eyes while exclaiming, "I'm exceptional too!" "The only exceptional thing about you my dear is your mother," I facepalm at Audrey's words as a lot more of Chloé's behavior became understandable. She just wanted her mom's attention and love and thought if she acted like her she'd receive it. But that wasn't working.

This seems to be Chloé's breaking point as she pulls out a familiar black box and opens it to reveal the bee miraculous as Pollen comes out, Chloé stating, "I'll show you how exceptional I can be." Mari and I go to verbally stop her before covering our mouths remembering we were in front of others and didn't want to look suspicious. Everyone gawked at Pollen as she bowed to Chloé. "How may I please you, my queen?" "What is that thing?" Audrey asks as we watch Chloé throw away her glasses and put in the comb as it turned silver soon shouting, "Pollen Buzz On!" 

The comb turns back into its bee color as magic curls around her hair, making it look like a bee hive with a black stripe, and antennas sticking out of the ponytail. Chloé clacks her feet and the yellow mist climbs up her body as Chloé spins soon lifting her arms up, a bee-themed black and yellow suit now on, bangs in her air, and a matching mask appearing after swiping her hand across her face before swiping across her arm for the final design. A spinning top appeared at her waist looking like a yellow hive with black stripes. She does another spin before posing with one foot out, a hand on her hip and her other hand extended out. She proceeds to hop to higher ground and makes an announcement to everyone, including the news. "I am Chloé Bourgeois and from now on I'll be your new superhero: Queen Bee. We'll see if you think Dupain-Cheng is still more exceptional than moi. Spinning top!" Using her spinning top she takes off into the city.

"She always was such a show-off. See you tonight Marinette, I'll meet you at my helicopter," Audrey says, seemingly unphased by Chloé's outburst soon walking off as we overhear Nadja cover the story. "Unbelievable. Paris got a newly proclaimed superhero who's not so secret identity is none other than Chloé Bourgeois, daughter of fashion queen Audrey Bourgeois and Mayor André Bourgeois!"

"It's probably not a good idea to stick around with Chloé Bourgeois thinking she's the bee's knees," Tom says, leading us all out and Sabine reassures us that the heroes would take care of it. We get onto the subway to start our way home and while on the way we were discussing how great of an opportunity Mari was offered. Currently, Tom was talking about opening a bakery in New York. Stepping to the side with me, Mari opens her purse to talk to Tikki as well as she says, "What should I do? It's like my dream come true. If I go to New York, I can become a real fashion designer." "Who will protect Paris from Hawkmoth if you leave?" Tikki asks.

"(s/n), Chat Noir, and Rena Rouge." "Only Ladybug can capture an akuma. I wouldn't be able to go with you if you left." "Someone else can be Ladybug even (y/n)," I shake my head. "That's a bad idea we don't want to put someone who has no idea what they're doing with that kind of responsibility, now that Hawkmoth knows what he's doing a new Ladybug would put him at an advantage. If I were the new Ladybug I still wouldn't know what I'm doing the ladybug miraculous is a lot different from the polar bear. Not to mention if you leave I might have to leave too. The Dupain-Chengs are my foster family for my scholarship, you guys were the only family available to foster me and that might not have changed since then so I would have to go back to my own home. That would mean two newbies with a miraculous since it would be strange if (s/n( disappeared."

Mari frowns at that, her attention soon turning toward her dad who was exclaiming how nothing was gonna stop Marinette from chasing her dreams. Suddenly we hear a tapping noise outside of the train. "What was that?" A moment later and the train begins to speed up by a lot, making everyone hold onto something tightly as Queen Bee pops up on the screen. "Passengers have no fear, watch Queen Bee in action. You can thank me later," The screen goes black as the other passengers start mumbling amongst themselves.

After a few minutes, the train still wasn't slowing down. Don't tell me she's just pushing against it, she won't make it like that. "Girls stay here, we're gonna see what we can do," Sabine says and she and Tom run to the front of the train, giving Mari and me the chance to sneak off and transform. By the time Ladybug and I made it on top of the train we see Chat Noir here. Good, he found his miraculous. Running to the front we do see that in fact, Queen Bee was just trying to push the train to a stop. "Need a helping paw?" Chat offers. "Stop, staring, can't you see you're distracting me!" She yells at us, soon looking forward when I notice the first yellow on the stripe blinking, I'm sure a noise would be sounding off too but I couldn't hear anything over the train.

But if it's blinking that can only mean one thing, she used her power. But on who or what? I look around and see nothing. Oh well, we can figure it out later. "Chat Noir, (s/n), I'll slow it down as much as I can, you two stop it," LB instructs, soon running to the back of the train and wrapping her yoyo around it. The train starts to slow down and by the time we reach the next station, Chat and I throw our staff/ spear near the exit to create a blockade and pulled Queen Bee up before running into the weapons, forcing the train to come to a stop.

Hopping down we get everyone off the train while LB sees what happened to the driver. It wasn't long before the train actually did come to a stop when Ladybug approached and whispered to Chat and me while Queen Bee soaked up the attention. "The driver was paralyzed. He has a yellow dot on his arm. Luckily I managed to pull the lever out of his hand but..." "It was her, she started this mess, proven by the fact the driver is paralyzed and her miraculous was flashing when we found her which means she used venom to start this to look good," I deduct and Ladybug soon addresses Queen Bee. " Queen Bee! This was your doing!" "Oh, Ladybug you're too kind. This was teamwork, oh how amazing is this? We're a team now." "No, you're the one who caused this mess. You used Venom to paralyze the metro driver just to make yourself look good."

Queen Bee brushes it off, acting like she hadn't just put others' lives in danger. "Who cares? We saved them didn't we?" "We shouldn't have had to in the first place. If you had left the driver alone nobody would've been in danger," I point out, crossing my arms while the crowd starts mulling about how awful she is. "Queen Bee or rather Chloé Bourgeois, we're on the air with your mother Audrey Bourgeois. Audrey do you have anything to say live on tv?" Nadja asks as we all look at the tablet with her mother on it.

"What? Regarding my daughter's ineptitude? I think it speaks for itself doesn't it?" The camera turns to Ladybug who outstretches her arm, stating, "Chloé give me back your miraculous," Her hands fly up to the comb, and holds on tightly as she yells "Finders, keepers! Losers, weepers!" "Did you lose a miraculous?!" Chat Noir asks LB in shock and she drags us to the side away from the camera. "Listen you and (s/n) have lost a miraculous too. May I remind you that (s/n) had to lose hers so The Violinist wouldn't get it and that you left me and (s/n) to fight Style Queen alone?" Before Chat could say anything I notice out of the corner of my eye Queen Bee trying to sneak away and I call out to her, making her run. "Queen Bee! Chloé wait!" 

We chase after her but by the time we got out of the subway she was gone. "Where ever she is, she's gonna transform back soon." "She's probably gone home, let's pay her a visit and get the miraculous back," With that, we take off toward The Grand Palais. We get there and instantly go to her room to find it empty. "Let's check the rest of the building," We go down each floor looking for her. When we reach the lobby we find everyone frozen in place, soon noticing the little black dots around everybody's necks.
