Desperada: Part 2

We start attacking Desperada while everyone else got away but it wasn't long before we had been slightly backed into the corner. Ladybug drags me out of the way as Desperada slices the car behind us in an attempt to hit us. As we continued to fight we suddenly hear music playing to our right. Our heads turn to see Luka playing his guitar and fear bubbles up, what was he doing?! "Another new guitarist?" Desperada asks in annoyance as she pulls up two mini trumpets and started shooting at him and Ladybug while I tackle Luka out of the way before LB throws Desperada with her yoyo onto the bridge and breaks it. "This way quick!"

LB yells, pointing to a manhole and we all quickly enter the sewers. Once safe I lightly scold Luka. "You shouldn't have put yourself in danger like that. Please leave the heroics to the people with a miraculous. But thank you for the help." "You can count on us whenever you need help," He says and I lightly blush with a smile. "We appreciate it but when dealing with a supervillain (s/n)'s right you should leave this to miraculous holders. Speaking of miraculous holders..." Ladybug says, grabbing her yoyo and starts to call Chat Noir, but there was no answer. She lets out a small groan before summoning her lucky charm. "A gong? What are you gonna do with that?" "We'll be back soon, you two should hide," LB says, tying the gong to her waist when we hear Desperada walking around above, playing her guitar. 

"Can I borrow that please?" Ladybug asks, pointing at Luka's guitar. He hands it over asking if she knew how to play. "Let's just say I have my own personal style. Now go hide," We run off and after a quick check for Desparada resurface as I ask what the plan was. I help her strap Luka's poor guitar to the horse statue and stuff bread in the strings for pigeons to pick at before we take off toward Master Fu's. Once we get there Marinette and I are presented with the miracle box being told the usual spew of picking an ally we can trust to fight alongside us before returning the miraculous to him. Looking over the options Mari mumbles, "Desperada is relentless, there's no room for error with her and we won't get another chance..." "Then we'll need the snake's power," I say and she grabs the bracelet. "Be careful, the snake's power is a very strong one. Whoever uses it must be wise enough not to be tempted to manipulate time for their own personal gain," My mind instantly turns to Luka as multiple memories pop up of him putting others before himself and I turn to Marinette with a smirk.

"You thinking of who I'm thinking of?" "Yeah, I can't believe I didn't think of him before. A perfect match," We take off back into the sewers only to run into Chat Noir. "We must stop running into each other like this M'lady. Let's stop this guitarist and her seriously bad music," He says, offering to help us up before noticing as we both frantically looked around. "What are you looking for?" He asks when LB grabs and dusts off the box, stating, "I have to find Adrien Agreste," I blink in confusion muttering, "Wait what?" "You want to entrust him with a miraculous?" "You're not supposed to know this but yes he's the perfect guy for this mission," I facepalm.

Of course, she thought of Adrien, I shouldn't have expected anything different after being around him all day and there'd be no persuading her otherwise. "You can trust me and my incredible nose. If Adrien's down here I'll find him for ya," Chat leads into a locker room and opens an empty locker, claiming Adrien was in it. "Your incredible nose failed you this time," LB teases when Luka steps out of another locker asking if we've defeated Desperada yet. "Where's Adrien?" He then asks. "Maybe he took off and hid somewhere else. Let's split up and find him," Chat suggests and we nod and I lightly push Luka back into the locker. "Please hide in here for the meantime, it'll make me feel better knowing that you're safe."

Chat Noir hid around a corner and de-transformed, soon giving Plagg a worried look. "Plagg what do I do? Ladybug says she needs Adrien." "If you ask me this whole idea is worse than cheese in a can," Plagg says, rolling his eyes while Adrien runs a hand through his hair. "I know but what am I supposed to do? She needs me to help her." "You tell her no? You can't be Chat Noir and another hero at the same time." "But if I say no, I'll let her down and she'll be disappointed in me." "No, that's your father's expectations you're thinking of, and assuming that Ladybug has the same you must do what I say expectations for you when she doesn't!" Plagg tries to argue but Ladybug could be heard around the corner calling out for him. "I have to do this for her," Before Plagg could argue more, Adrien was already rounding the corner.

I continue to look for Adrien when Ladybug and Adrien who was already transformed into a turquoise snake-themed suit run up while LB calls Chat Noir on where to meet up. "I see you found Adrien," I say, crossing my arms. "I hope I don't disappoint you Ladybug." "I know you won't, you're perfect- Perfectly capable of helping us defeat Desperada. We need all the odds in our favor, she's a fearsome opponent," LB says before summoning her lucky charm and she's given a horse saddle.

"I would've preferred a horseshoe for my first mission," Adrien jokes and Ladybug laughs, commenting on how she loves his sense of humor and I roll my eyes and I cut in explaining how the snake power works, I don't want to be stuck watching Ladybug flirt with Adrien, already had enough dealing with that from Chat and her. "SECOND CHANCE!" "We now have five minutes. Within this time range you can go back as many times as you want but when the head of the snake goes back into place, you'll de-transform," LB then looks around with a frown. "Still no Chat..." Adrien gives her a small smile and she smiles back. "Come to think of it, we're ok without him," Adrien's smile drops and I give her a look of disbelief as I jab my elbow into her side hard. "What?" She hisses and I hiss back, "What is wrong with you?! That was so disrespectful, Chat Noir is our friend and partner who's helped us through everything, even sacrificing himself multiple times for us. Stop treating him like some disposable tool."

Ladybug looks away guiltily as she mumbles an apology before we resurface. "Where'd she go?" LB asks, stepping out into the open instantly getting hit with the yellow puff of smoke, and Adrien and I duck down, glaring at the Eiffel Tower where the shot came from. "Awesome team aren't ya?" Plagg suddenly asks as he flies up, his hands on his hips. "Plagg? But that means you're-" I start to say realizing that Adrien and Chat Noir were the same when Adrien pulls back the snake head-

"We now have five minutes-" "Before I transform back, I know," I arch an eyebrow as Adrien finishes Ladybug's sentence. "We didn't make it?" "No. Come on, no time to wait for Chat Noir, we're gonna make an awesome team, Aspik, (s/n), and Ladybug," LB starts squealing about how Aspik had so much down already. We go up and Aspik immediately stops Ladybug from walking out in the open, informing us of where she was so we take a different way when Aspik hands Ladybug a flower. "Here, I wanna thank you for choosing me," LB blushes as she takes the flower when Desperada attacks, hitting Ladybug with her ax and capturing her. "NO!" He shouts as I drag him away from her.
