Phil's POV

"Come on." Dan said as if it was nothing, and I followed him inside. I could feel Dan staring at me the entire time, but I paid no attention as we entered. It. Looked. Amazing.

"Oh my..." I whispered, staring at everything. The roof was as tall as could be, and before us was a giant room, with a massive flight of stairs at the end. Everything was white or a pale gold color. There were doors all along the giant room, which was shaped closer to a very big hallway.

Dan pointed to all of the doors as we walked past them. "That's the kitchen, bathroom, office, library..." He listed, pointing back and forth slowly between doors. "Wait, library?" I asked, stopping in my tracks. He laughed, "Yeah, wanna see? I don't really go in there too often." "I would like to see, yes. I mean, um, can I?" I asked. He laughed again and nodded.

He pushed open the tall door, and behind it was an entire room filled of books. They lined the walls, and reached up as high as I could see. It even had one of those giant ladders like in all of the movies. And in one corner near the door there were about five or six massive bean bags, with a light handing above them.

"It's amazing!" I exclaimed, stepping in slowly. "Yeah, I guess," Dan shrugged. "I could live in here." I said, barely listening to what Dan was saying from behind me. "You like books? I have an entire room full of video games and movies..." Dan trailed off. "I like video games too! This place has it all." I said, a permanent smile stuck on my face.

Eventually, after thirty minutes of dragging me through the whole mansion, Dan finally led me to the massive flight of stairs. "This is our room." He smiled, pointing to the top of the stairs, and just up there was a large, double door. I said unsteadily, "We have to walk up all of those?" "Nope, that's just for show. Come this way." Dan smirked, walking to the side of the hundreds of steps. On the side of the staircase, there was a small, black button. He pressed it, and a secret door opened. I laughed, "Why is everything here so cool?" Dan just smiled, and stepped into the metal box behind the door.

"Well, what are you waiting for?" He asked, confused as to why I wasn't following him. I stepped in, and quickly walked towards Dan. The room was dark, and didn't smell like anything; that may have scared me the most seeing as I relied on my nose quite a bit, being half-fox and all. Dan pressed a button from inside, and the door closed shut. I pressed myself up against Dan, terrified, as the thing started to move. "It's just an elevator, it's okay." He said soothingly, and wrapped an arm around me.

Finally, after a couple of seconds, winch felt like an eternity, it stopped. It opened again and we stepped out. It revealed a massive room. A black and grey patterned bed, larger than any bed I've ever seen before, lay on one side, and the rest of the room was filled with bookshelves, a television, a dresser, and a load of other nerdy and geeky things.

"Before anything," Dan said seriously, making me turn around, "I need to explain some rules."

I gulped, and then nodded.

"Well there aren't too many, so just hear me out on this one." I nodded again, and stood in a submissive pose with my ears down and my hands balled together.

"One. No being rude, no kicking, no growling...I think you get it. Two. You can only talk to Bailiwick, the head butler, and I. Three. There is a dress code. Underwear only, and t-shirts if you so chose. You can request to wear pants or warmer clothes during the winter and fall, though. Four, be honest. No lying, stealing, or being sneaky. And last, five. All acts against the top rules will have equal consequences. Understand?" "Yes, sir. I mean Daniel! Wait no, I mean..." I decided to just go quiet. He chuckled, "You're so adorable. Now come one, Bailiwick is waiting on you. He'll get you bathed and dressed." I nodded.
