Phil's POV

I was sat in the driver's seat, while Dan was in the passenger's seat. Surprisingly, there were only two seats in the front, and they were right next to each other, like a bench on a school bus, but with lap seatbelts.

We eventually started onto the road when Dan said, "Feels so weird to be driving on this side of the road." "Yeah, I kinda don't like it, but I kinda do." I replied, looking around a bit. "You 'kinda like it'?" Dan chuckled. "Well, yeah. It's new and exciting, and different, ya know?" "Yeah, but I guess it's just a bit weird and out of routine." "Yeah, I know. You're so hooked into routine." "I am not." "You are too." "How am I hooked on routine? Besides, you're the one who didn't even want to go on vacation because you didn't want to leave the house." "Shut up." I laughed, pushing his head a bit, and he just giggled back.

After about thirty minutes of driving, Dan yawned, and rested his head on my shoulder. "I'm tired." He sighed. "Then go to sleep, bear." "But then you'd have no one to talk to." "Aww." I kissed the top of his head. "Don't worry about me. It's not like we haven't been talking for thirty minutes anyway." "Yeah, but you're Phil. You like to talk about the weirdest stuff at the most random moments." "Whatever, then I'll just talk to myself." "But you'd look like a weirdo." "Hey, it's a good thing to be strange. Normalness leads to sadness." He chuckled, "I guess." before he silently fell asleep.

We drove another hour before Dan woke up. "Morning, baby." I kissed his cheek after he sat up. "What time is it? I'm hungry." he replied. "Uhh, in about twenty miles we can stop for dinner, ok?" "Ok." he yawned, and then turned on some music for the both of us.

We danced and sang until we came to our first stop, which wasn't far away from our hotel. We ate a quick meal at a Wendy's before jumping back on the road for twenty more minutes, then found our hotel.

It was a smaller room. By the front door was another door that lead to a bathroom. The bed was large and white, there was a tv in front of the bed, and a brown chair beside it.

We were only here for one night, and they serve free breakfast. We cuddled together on the bed later that night, and fell asleep.
