THALEIA'S POV

I clenched my fist the moment I saw them clashing. I couldn't contain my anger anymore but I must refrain myself.

We quickly ran towards the two and freed them apart. I could feel her heart pounding so hard.

When she finally tilted her head to see me, I gave her a catatonic gaze. I feel like my mind temporarily stopped working when I saw the wound on her forehead. A red liquid is streaming down from it.

Blood.

The unbeknownst sound that only I could hear resonated through my ears, triggering something in me that I never felt for so many years. It didn't last as I tried my best to resist the effect it giving me.

"Dixon, bring Monterey in the infirmary" I ordered in a stern voice.

I carefully let her go. She looks so fragile with her wounded face, messy hair, and disheveled uniform.

I watched them walked away and once they disappeared from my eyes, I turned to see Callithea.

Nakatayo siya habang inaayos ang sarili. Kinuha ko ang pagkakataon na yun para lapitan siya.

Like what she did to Avika, I grabbed her right arm in a harsh manner. She looked at me distraught.

"How brave of you to trespass in my property and hurt one of my students?" I asked her firmly.

Hindi siya sumagot at sinubukan lang hilahin ang braso niya ngunit hindi ko ito hinayaan. She doesn't have any idea how ballistic I am right now. If she thinks that I would let this pass then she's wrong. Wala akong pakialam kung siya ang anak ng isa sa makapangyarihan na tao rito. She doesn't have any rights to abuse Monterey by any means.

"Kulang pa ba yung paglabas ko ng pandaraya mo?" I told her which made her stop resisting from my grip.

She incredulously put her gaze on me. I smirked in satisfaction. Ganyang klase ng mga reaksyon ang gusto kong makita mula sa kanya.

"Ikaw ang naglabas ng video?"

"I am"

"H-How? Professor ka lang naman dito para gawin yun!"

I let out an acrimonious laugh. Napakahangal talaga ng babaeng 'to.

"Oh I didn't know you're that scornful, Madrigal? Kung nalaman ko lang ng mas maaga ang kahangalan mo then hindi ko na pinaabot pa sa ganto ang lahat"

"Ano?? Sino ka ba sa inaakala mo? May I remind you miss that I'm the mayor's daughter here kaya pwedeng-pwede kong ipatanggal 'yang license mo bilang professor" matapang at punong-puno ng kayabangan niyang pagbabanta.

Mas lalo kong hinigpitan ang pagkakahawak ko sa kanya. She's really confident to say that to me without knowing what she's getting into.

"Don't fucking pull that card on me, Madrigal. I could deteriorate your family kung gugustuhin ko. You don't know me that well kaya huwag mo kong pagbabantaan ng ganyan"

She remained unfazed.

"Do you think I'm afraid to you, Ms. Abenson? Alam ko ang sikreto mo" she brought out, showing her cocky smile.

I didn't speak. I was trying to comprehend what she enunciated. Anong sikreto?

"Hindi ko akalain na ang isang katulad mo ay kayang gumawa ng ganoong klase ng bagay? Dito pa mismo sa NHU mo ginagawa ang kalokohan mo" matalas niyang wika.

I frowned. "What are you saying?"

"Akala mo hindi ko napapansin yung mga tinginan mo kay Avika sa tuwing may klase tayo? Nung una akala ko wala lang eh but as the time passes by, I could sense that there's something more about that"
