𝐄𝐩𝐢𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐮𝐞 𝐈. 𝐑𝐄𝐃

Propelling the steering wheel of my convertible car, I let the cold breeze of the night passed against my face, freeing the thoughts that trying to intrude in my head. Ilang buwan na lang ay sasalang nanaman ako sa panibagong laban pero sa pagkakataong 'to, I wouldn't be only competing for my family and friends but for the whole city na rin. I've been preparing for this for the whole year so I should've enough confidence by now yet why do I feel like I won't make it to the finals? Perhaps, this is occasioned by a certain event of my life.

Puffing an air, I pulled out to the garage inside this expansive villa. I promenaded my way inside the five-storey hearthstone until I made it on the last floor where Everlee's room is located. This private place is owned by tita Isabelle exclusively use for gatherings and vacation for family and friends only.

Nang mabuksan ko na ang pinto ay agad na bumungad sa'kin ang mga nagkalat na damit at underwear sa sahig. I rolled my eyes after hooking up one of the clothes. Paniguradong may babae nanamang iniuwi ang gunggong na 'yon kagabi.

Nagpatuloy ako sa paglalakad hanggang sa narating ko ang higaan nito at hindi nga ako nagkamali. A girl was lying naked next to her and the two of them were still in their deep slumber. Para gisingin sila ay binuksan ko nang maigi ang kurtina para sumilay sa pagmumukha nila ang tirik na araw.

I watched Everlee stirred up, I took that as my cue to throw the piece of clothe that I fished out which caused her to jolted awake.

"Avi??" nakasimangot nitong bwelta sa'kin. Kasunod nun ay ang paggising ng babaeng katabi niya.

I gave the girl a flat look to show that I'm not interested in her at all.

"W-Who is she?" takang tanong nito at palitan kaming tiningnan. Hindi inintindi ni Everlee yung babae at inis na hinilamos ang kamay niya sa mukha.

"You should have call me beforehand hindi yung bigla-bigla ka na lang sumusulpot" iritadong sermon nito direkta sa akin sabay tayo mula sa hinihigaan niya. She was wearing nothing as she collected the garments on the floor. I don't mind her being fully nude right in front me, sanay na ako pero mukhang yung babae niya ang hindi sanay dahil gulong-gulo ito sa nakikita.

Lifting one corner of my lips, an idea popped into my mind. I walked next to Everlee and gave her a kiss on her left cheek.

"What the hell?? Ano bang ginagawa mo??" tila diring-diri ito sa'kin.

"Babe, didn't you miss me? I was away for a week" kunwari'y nagpout pa ako para magpacute. I mentally rolled my eyes in my feign action.

Her eyes widened, giving me an utter shock expression. Gustong-gusto ko na humagalpak ng tawa dahil sa itsura nito.

"Lee, what's this?? Sino ba siya??" tila naiiritang tanong ng babae kaya inilipat ko ulit ang tingin sa kanya.

I smirked in victory. This is so satisfying to witness.

Marahan akong naglakad papunta sa pwesto niya habang diretso lang ang tingin sa kanya. Nahahalata ko na kinakabahan siya kahit na nanatili siyang nakaupo roon.

"Wala ka bang common sense para hindi mo maintindihan ang nangyayari? I can't believe this, Roz. Kukuha ka na nga lang ng babae mo yung slow pa" kunwari'y pagalit kong saad.

"Oh gosh, Avika Yvonne! Stop that!" saway nito sa akin.

"Sino ka ba talaga??"

"I am her fiancée" I bluntly replied as the both of them stopped from their tracks.

The girl didn't know what to do and before I knew it, she was already running her life outside habang nakahubad.

"Avika, what's wrong with you?? Bakit mo ginawa yun? What if hindi na siya bumalik?" Everlee queried in vex. What is she worrying about that? Ang dami namang iba dyan.
