LAN ZHAN AND WEI YING'S ETERNAL DESTINY BOOK2

CHAPTER 5

" Wanji...are you ok? Do you know where we are?" Lan Zhan just looked at him and nod. " Do you know who he is?" Lan Xichen asked as he pointed to Wei Ying with his head and Lan Zhan nodded again. " Xiongzhang...he needs to wake up, time is running out, his core power has been shut by the Gods and he needs to get it back or he might not wake up again " " what do you mean by that? Wanji...you mean he will not wake up forever...? How is that possible, the Gods will not allow that!" "Xiongzhang...this is the time we were supposed to meet and not a few minutes later and if this time passes... there'll be chaos!"

Lan Zhan was told that he and Wei Ying must meet each other before time runs out for them to secure their union, the Gods had told him that their core powers should meet and that's how they will know each other. Lan Zhan had just a glimpse of Wei Ying's life when he saw him outside but the 'knowimg each other's the Gods told him about was for their future, they were part of each other and they should remain as such forever. Lan Zhan understood that the time for them to meet was at that exact time and not a second less or more, if they were to meet after the said time their destiny would be forfeited and evil spirits would make sure that they never meet each other again. This was the spiritual battle they were to fight together and the evil spirits already knew that the pair of their doom were already born and they were still searching who it was.

If they were to find out who they were, Lan Zhan and Wei Ying would loose each other and the Gods mission would be impossible to complete. Lan Xichen was so surprised by what Lan Zhan was telling him about the Gods message. He couldn't understand why Wei Ying would suffer for being injured, he thought that if Wei Ying was to wake up late then it would mean all the difficulties he faced in his life would be for nothing and that was not fair for him. Lan Zhan didn't want to touch Wei Ying to wake him up and Lan Xichen saw that, so he volunteered. He went by the bed side and sat down on the chair beside the bed and gently shook Wei Ying. He tried so hard that he even played his soul clearifying and calming melody but it didn't work. So he looked at Lan Zhan.

Lan Zhan also looked at him and Lan Xichen shook his head to let Lan Zhan know that he had tried his best and now he should try. He was hassitant at first until he felt strange, he thought maybe it was a sign for their time running out and he quickly went over the bed and laid on it. He stroke Wei Ying's back subconsciously and whisper calling his name in his ear, he was sleeping on his side facing Wei Ying. He started running circles around Wei Ying's back and I was like he was unaware who he was, where he was and who he was with. Lan Xichen was standing there with his mouth agape and eyes bulging out because of the amount of affection Lan Zhan was showing Wei Ying at their young age, he saw that Lan Zhan was unaware of his doings and he started to wondered what kind of relationship Lan Zhan and Wei Ying were meant to have.

He...for one had never seen that kind of relationship between men, it's not like he didn't know of any becaise he had seen his father and mother. He had also seen his other married Lan desciples who even though they never showed their intimacy with each other around other people...had done things similar to what he just saw with Lan Zhan and Wei Ying. He seemed to be thinking for a second when Wei Ying woke up and he came out if his oun thoughts little world, when he paid carefully attention on Wei Ying, he realised that Wei Ying had woken up and something was busy happening to him. Wei Ying woke up with a smile in his face and before he could even open his eyes, he snuggled against Lan Zhan's hand on his back while hiding his face on Lan Zhan's little broad chest.

In that instant, he seemed to be feeling uncomfortable as he furrowed his eyebrows with his hands tightly fisted while curling up his body like an armadillo hiding from its prey. Lan Zhan saw that and he whispered his name in his ear again and a few seconds after that Wei Ying woke up looking like he was in total shock of who was lying next to him. Lan Zhan blinked his eyes a few times as before they knew it their eyes met. Right at that moment, time seemed to be frozen still as Wei Ying's eyes suddenly lit his bright red glow and Lan Zhan's were right blue. Lan Xichen stood there like he was nailed to the ground as the two soulmates slowly and syncronisingly go off the bed like they were picked up and placed gently on the ground. Suddenly...the bright red glow glowed on Lan Zhan's chest as both their robes untied from their shoulders to their waists.

The mark where the red core power was had left a swirling mark and the red core power was visible to Wei Ying who was just looking at it with gleaning red glowing eyes. He saw how the red power pulsated and he felt familiarity with it but didn't know why. Remember...Wei Ying's power was shut and same applied to knowledge about Lan Zhan and saving himself, that was the reasons why Wei Ying never felt that connection when they met outside. He held his hand out and held it midair waiting for Lan Zhan to accept him. Lan Zhan didn't know what or how to feel about that, so he did what he was meant if him. He also held his hand out but didn't connect it with Wei Ying's, Wei Ying's saw that and smiled while placing his hand on top of Lan Zhan's, intertwining them and did the same with their other hands.

Lan Xichen sat down and started meditating, he didn't know why he did that, it was like his body was involuntarily doing what his mind didn't command. He sat there and watched the two soulmates as they were about to transfere the core power, the light in the room was now purple as the red and blue core powers lit up the entire room as they intertwined themselves becoming one.
