LAN ZHAN AND WEI YING'S ETERNAL DESTINY BOOK2

CHAPTER 41

Madam Lan placed her two fingers on Wei Ying's temple and transfered him his memories from the first day he started living in the streets. Leaving out his memory of Lan Zhan and Lan Xichen, when she finished his memory was left blank where there should've been Lan Zhan and Lan Xichen and said " I have left blanks in your memories which you were with someone who you will walk your path with, your soulmate " Wei Ying gasped.

" You mean you're not going to tell me what had happened to me? Why am I here if you cannot tell me what the task I'm supposed to do? " " Son...it's not that I want to tell you, but the thing is if I tell you you're not going take it seriously as you should. You did not necessarily forget your memories but it's locked somewhere in your mind. I do not want you to expect something but it should come unexpected so that you would learn from it and be who you're supposed to be, the other reason I'm not going to tell you because it involves me and I cannot tell you more about myself either. So do you have any other questions before we continue?"

Wei Ying didn't speak for a few seconds then he asked " why does madam Yu hate me and my mother so much? What have we done to her?" " Wei Ying...son...I don't think she really hated you–" " then why does she find ways to punish me all the time if she doesn't , I know I'm not her son but she should atleast treat me like a mortal who feels pain just like her son.." " indeed you are a mortal, but a mortal with godly powers, but as time goes by you will learn to be thankful to those hardships be side they will lead you to where you should be. When time comes you will have to decide which road to take and who you want to be with, but until then...let's concerntrate in regaining your strength first...alright?"

Wei Ying agreed and madam Lan hugged him because she knew that hugging him was the same as hugging her dearest son Lan Zhan. They started their training and Wei Ying forgot about all the pains he had been through as he found happiness in a stranger's embrace who always rewarded her with a hug for doing well and kissed his forehead to encourage him to do better. He wished madam Yu was just like this woman who saw him a her own son. Time went by and by the time his training was done madam Lan looked at him and cried, she missed her son and she found comfort in his soulmate, but then she also had to part ways with Wei Ying and live in separate realms.

" Madam Lan, I will miss you (sobs)... will I forget you once I wake up?" " I wish that you don't,but I do not know son, what I know is that I do not want you to forget me not I you. Farewelk my son and okease take care if yourself" the last words that were spoken by madam Lan echoed in Wei Ying's mind as he opened his eyes and liked at his surroundings. He realised that he was still in Lotus Cove and sadness fiund its way in his heart yet again. He felt like he was dreaming beifre he woke up and he closed his eyes again trying to remember that beautiful dream he just had. He remembered everything and atleast he found comfort it it, the Gods had granted madam Lan's wish since it was not a selfish one and was not about seeing her own son.

Wei Ying woke up again and remember what had happened to him before he visited his home, the spirit realm. He moved his legs to feel if  his legs were sti in pain but tmhe was not. He didn't get a chance to look closely when he realised that he had fallen in the ground and wondered who had picked him from the ground and placed him in the bed, before he could ask himself more questions Jiang Fengmian walked in. He was so happy to see Wei Ying awake and he called a desciple to call Jiang Yanli to bring Wei Ying his favourite food to give him strength. Jiang Yanli came with a tray of lotus root with pork rib soup. Wei Ying ate with a face full of smiles and readied himself for more torture from madam Yu. 

While Jiang Fengmian was informed that Lan Zhan had been injured he arrived there a little over four hours because he was worried. How could he not, the Lan's were his trusted friends and he knew a little that Lan Zhan was a special child, but his special he was he didn't know, even Lan Qiren didn't have that knowledge. He entered Cloud Rescessess and he found Lan Qiren by the gate waiting for him, they greeted each other and Jiang Fengmian couldn't wait so he asked " Qiren...what had happened to Lan Zhan, who hurt him?" " That is the reason why I came here to recieve you myself, to tell you what I know and what we found out.

One of our desciples almost miles him by torturing him but as if that wasn't enough...he also threw him in the cold pond.." " Shènme??" (*What??) " He was shocked as to who in Cloud Rescessess would do such a thing until Lan Qiren told him the whole story, he also asked him to keep it a secret because it would ruin the Gusu Lan clan's image if word was to come out. He trusted Jiang Fengmian with everything even his secrets. She they arrived in Lan Zhan's room Jiang Fengmian was shocked to see Lan Zhan in the state he was in. He felt pain as to how a child could do that to another, he stayed there for a few more days taking a break that was needed from madam Yu efire things between him and her escalated.

One morning when Lan Qiren was called to the meeting hall, Lan Xichen went to Jiang Fengmian's quarters and he knocked and came in and sat down after he was given permission. " Uncle Jiang Fengmian...how is Wei Ying I hope he's doing great? " Jiang Fengmian didn't want to tell him the truth about his wife abusing Wei Ying so...he just said what he said to directly inform Lan Xichen that he was still well. He knew there were some sort of relationship between Wei Ying and the Lan brothers so he told him " he had fever that day, a severe one which made him unable to remember anything. I didn't want to force him to remember you because I didn't to know what would happen to him. "
